This App will detect attempts to VoiceTap your Device.
Extremely easy to use.
Make sure that the NSA and the FBI are not Tapping your Phone!
(Or your boy/girl-friend, spouse, boss, parents, etc.)
There may be Apps planted on your Device that have the capability to Listen to your Phone Calls, and/or make Voice Recordings from the Microphone, and send them via Internet to an Unknown Receiver. Without your knowledge or consent!
Some Spy Apps may even secretly set up automatic Hidden Phone Calls to or from your Phone, to listen in on you. Hidden Calls are Remotely Controlled and silently set up to or from your Phone, e.g. when you are not using it yourself.
This App - "WireTap Detection" - will protect you from being spied on in these ways, by Detecting all attempts to Tap your Phone. Before you want to make a Recording yourself - or a VoIP (e.g. Skype) Call - simply touch a button to DISABLE the App.
If you have a Tablet (without Phone Capabilities), you can use this App in the same way, to Detect attempts to Spy on you by making Recordings from the Microphone.
Nothing could be simpler.
A Status Notification will show when WireTap Detection is Enabled.

We have not found any other App with the same capabilities.
All Options are Enabled by default.
You should have a look at them (on the Settings Page). May be you want to Disable some of the Options.
Please note that it is only possible to check whether a Microphone Recording is Ongoing or not, at the fixed Intervals selected by you, e.g. once per minute, once per 10 minutes, etc. A shorter Period increases the likelihood of detecting a Mic Recording, but the Battery Consumption may increase slightly. So you should find your own compromise between Detection Probability and Battery Consumption.
Detection of Phone Call Recordings is independent of this Checking Period, as it is limited by the Start and End of the Call.
You may optionally verify that the Periodic Microphone Checking is working, by enabling a Text Notification each time the Microphone is checked.
Due to software differences between various Phones, it may be necessary to adjust a Sensibility value to suit your Device. If you should experience MANY Normal Calls as being registered as Hidden, you should LOWER the Sensibility Factor (found on the Settings Page).
If you should experience some real WireTapping Alerts, you should use our "SpyWare Removal" app to try to identify the App causing the problem, and remove it.
To start with, you will probably mostly be alerted by your own apps, e.g. when you are using a Normal Audio Recording App, or Recording Calls. These are also good for testing this app.
Please note that this App does NOT detect Spying on SMSs, Emails, etc.
(However, from Android version 4.4, it is no longer possible to hide Sent or Received SMSs. They can all be found in the List/Log of SMSs on your Device.)

CLEARLY this can only tell you if the person your talking to is recording the call. A real "WIRE" tap would be done on a land line. ???? but any way no way could this tell you if government is watching your "CELL" SIGNAL AND I doubt any normal persons EX or other wise will be buying the equipment they use to do it just to see who your dating now. Un real how like %98 of the world's population is still SHEEPLE and have no clue how things work or what's going on ????.

Good, functional app that seems to do what it tells us it can do. My only pet peeve would be the ads that I can't do anything about. They are minimal... But I'm the type of guy that dishes out a few bucks into an app I like to remove advertisements.

According to this app, even my grandmother is recording me... There is not a clear distinction between regular calls and any call which would be recorded. Furthermore, there is a awful noise which put you in evidence when it "supposedly" has found a recording call...

Not sure exactly how this detects but it didn't detect bixby nor my hacking friend from intercepting my phone calls.. it only detects apps from recording not a government hacking agency

It doesn't show or alert me when I'm getting Wiretapped...but it logs it! It might be controlled and have glitches...MY SHOW NOTIFICATIONS CHECK BOX IS DISABLED...HMMMMM

Unbelievable what this app can do. My girlfriends x was spying on our conversations. Now he's looking at class D Felony 10 years in prison and $10,000 fine. Fantastic app.

It works well but what good is it if it doesn't give you an ip or phone #, name, or location of who's doin the wire tap or turning on mic. So you know it's being done but can't prove who's doing it

I am curious why it states that a possible hidden call was detected only when I am in my car, connected to the car's Bluetooth? Is my car bugged, or is Bluetooth sensitive?

I absolutely love this app. The first time I installed it I was receiving and sending hundreds of hitting calls a day all the phone numbers that I knew and when I brought it up to people very casually they would freak out they felt so guilty and they would just take off through my experience nobody can ever tell me that this app is not 100% useful. I will give it this it does eat your battery up if you use the mic recording detector at Short intervals but that's to be expected due to the nature of the function it's well worth it because not only can you determine whether or not your phone is being tapped with the hidden call detector you may possibly be able to also determine which people in your life are involved in that thank you guys for the app I really appreciate it In response to some of the other comments I have read I would like to say that if you read the instructions carefully which there aren't very many you will see the functionality of this app works exactly how it says it will if you set the sensitivity on the app too high then you can get false ratings Bybee Farms directions it will work exactly how it should

I'm not really sure what I think. Cuz ppl who I juss meet or ppl who would have no reason to record me say that they are. Like if I'm on the phone and a friend beeps in it says there number in log. But then wen IM DOIN A RECORDING of My Son it also says it AND then in the recording yu hear the noise it makes so it messes up the video. So idk wat to think or if it really works. And also I hate that wen I unlock My Phone I ALSO have to unlock there ad thing as well. It's actually quite annoying especially wen I'm in a hurry tryna get something done or make a phone call.

You need to make the log more distinguishable meaning when you find something going on with the phone calls coming in or out the message of a possible hidden caller Is it enough information to take action so if you could somehow define what is going on and perhaps even links to how to defend against it would be an asset for you guys and make yourselves more of a necessity to people using a cell phone and want more privacy.

I wish it would disconnect the recordings of the microphone and calls that are being made and away to save the log of events, as well as removing what ever it is they have on my phone to make this possible for them and who they are. Otherwise I am very happy with it. Thank you I have got the proff I needed.
