UPDATE: its now 2016, 4 years from my previous comment, and I'm still using passdroid. I've gone through two phones and on each one I make sure to download it. Passdroid is perfect because I know it's secure.

This app is okay but NO support whatsoever. I emailed developer about problem and never received a response, I would stay away from this app!!!!!! I purchased Passdroid on a phone that recently broke and I reinstalled it on my new phone however I don’t know how to get the passwords from my old phone to the new one. I have tried to open the files on my PC but don’t know how to do it. Can someone post a suggestion on how to access the information. Thanks

Not bad but one huge problem is that the info is not protected against being wiped by someone looking to clear space on their mobile by pressing the 'Clear data' button in system (application) settings of their phone. No warning, you just lose everything. Can this be protected against?

Simple safe "SAFE". The very inconvenience of not transferable SAFE offers maximum security. New phone simply copy , lost phone .... Well whatever you can recall.

This is a good app for people that way to keep track of their passwords. It doesn't have any permission that need to be approved. The only thing that I would like to see is adding support for finger print or iris scanner support to unlock app.

Been using this since I got rid of my blackberry. Great for managing all the access I have to maintain but needs a different font as it is hard to tell if it is an l or a capital I. FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO BACKUP OR MOVE TO A NEW DEVICE. Go to Settings>import/export and select export, it tells you how to save it to your device or SD card.

No logging out after clicking home button, you have to manually log out. Im on Htc one 4.4 with ART enabled

I've tried similar apps, but recommend this to anyone. I have not had the same issues as others with backing up. I transfer a new back up to my laptop once a month, recovered once, no issue.

I have used this app for years and love it. Very simple, does exactly what I need to store my passwords, allow me to back up for new devices, etc.

Great App. Been using it for a long time. Just needs 1 more feature, import should have the option to merge with existing data.

I've converted my spreadsheet of passwords to CSV and then to XML, them imported into this apps. Everything works !

Excluding to the cloud and importing to a new phone isn't much of a hassle considering the app requires no Internet access. Safe, reliable, and simple. This app provides everything I need in a vault.

Only wish an option for notes would be added. Not enough space to add additional needed information other than a username and password.

Information does not survive the import/ export to new phone, how can I transfer info to my new phone? Fix this problem and I will give 5 stars

No extra permissions being required is comforting. I've used this for a while now and still love it. I do have a feature request though...would it be possible to have some structure in the password list? Like folders of passwords to keep the list a bit more manageable?

Perfect!!! I have always enjoyed this app. Simple and efficient, and I always wanted at least 1 more field and now this is better than it was, and I gave it 5*s then. Wish I could give another 5! THANK YOU :-)

Am getting tired of having to enter it 4 times, even though I am absolutely confident it was entered correctly. Looking for an alternative. Sorry, guys.
