Kobo Books - eBooks & Audiobooks

On trying to open the app you get the message "Allow Kobo Books to access your contacts?". I choose Deny. Next message says "To sign in with Google+ you'll need to enable Contacts permission. Kobo will never access the information in your Contacts." So, what's the point of the first message? I found it easier to use the Kobo app via Windows.

Contacted Kobo to sorted out the account problem. They solved the account problem. But this app still will not log me in. Cannot be bothered to wait again when ringing to solve it.

Great app because I love to read but for some reason when you click on a book to read the description and you push the back button it doesn't take you back where you were. Which I hate because now I have to start all over again

Finally got it working! Im using this app on my lg g5. Everytime I do a search and press back button it brings me to the home menu not the last page I was on when looking at books available.

Having previously leaving a bad review of the app, I have changed my mind, due to my own fault. Once logged in properly I am able to use all the features of the app. It can be slow to load but the fact I am able to store several books in one place rather than worry about storage space for several book the app is fairly convenient.

Same concerns as other people when pressing back, it doesn't take you back to where you were. Also, it would be nice to have a setting where you could make the screen stay on for long or have the screen stay on while you are reading the book.

Book table of contents is a little confusing. Would be better if it spelled out sections instead of x001ch3 meaning book1chapter3

The kobo store will no longer load. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app. Now the sign in will not load. The page just remains blank. Useless app. Just sad I actually spent money on books and can no longer access them.

I have recently had a lot of trouble with losing my place when I close my book. I have gone through the recommended repairs including uninstalling and installing. It works for a while then loses its place again.

Terrible app, overcrowded with offers, pause and play buttons are tiny, only 10 second rewind and forward options (30 seconds would have been better).. only positive thing is the option to scroll left or right to navigate through the track. I've used a few audiobooks apps and this one is by far at the bottom of the pole.

Beautiful interface, I originally wasn't sure if this was actually Kobo, it's been awhile since I used it on my phone, as opposed to my Kobo reader, but it definitely is!! It has all my books I had from my Kobo and from other times I have had the app installed. A delightful app to use when you need to "get away" for awhile <3

It is an excellent app - I love it! The look and feel is lovely, the dictionary works even when I'm not online. I also really love the large version of the Currently Reading widget. Well done. :)

Frustrating to get my first book. I'm sure things will get better.

Log in doesn't work. Unacceptable from a company that sells ebooks . Completely useless . Hope they fix it soon, as I couldn't download the book I bought today.

Terrible. Can't adjust margins or line spacing. Makes reading very difficult in some cases.

what's wrong with the app now? can't see my purchase history or books from the app but Browser is showing it.

No more purchases from Kobo till the book covers are intact onscreen without an online connection, as is the case with Kindle and Google Play Books!

Has all the functions I use quickly and efficiently available online​ or offline. Also great selection and often tremendous discounts on books already on my 'To Read' list.

I like this app. I can conveniently read anywhere. I do agree with pressing back and not having it go back you where you were. But that's the only issue I've had.

I've been reading on my Android phone for years now. Kobo continues to work on improvements to app. It gets better all the time, yet they've never messed with the excellent core reading experience. Very satisfied

On the whole I have been very happy with the application. Although several books I have been looking for aren't available. No performance issues though.

It works very well. Sometimes navigation isn't so intuitive but with practice you get the hang of it.

No specials on audio books worth reading, while MANY discounts on ebooks.

App doesn't open if there's no wifi or data connection present, even though I've downloaded books onto the device. Also, the margins in the reading mode are too wide, wasting valuable screen space on mobiles.

I am just insane for this app and it keeps getting better and better

Poor formatting options in Android app: the iOS version is much better...not sure why the support for Android is so inferior.

Absolutely love it. I love how it recommends books based in your previous choices. I've discovered some great new authors that way.

Usually read books on my reader but loving the app on my tablet. All my books there no problems and account working no problems
