MyLab/Mastering Study Modules

I only wish I could do as much here as I can on my desktop or laptop! But I've gone through several modules, and I think it's a great addition to my study routine. Also, if I'm supposed to be able to resize when "learning," someone needs to look at that. But scanning the too large image by moving it around is only a small annoyance.

But it will not allow me to add new courses. Once in the home screen there is not option at all to update active enrollment. Or am I just missing some? 5 stars if this is updated.

I've now tried both of the Pearson apps to attempt to access my etext for one of my college courses, yet it says credentials are not accepted, however I am able to log in on my PC using the EXACT same credentials without issue. This is a sad excuse and attempt to make things easier and readily available to overcharged college students. In the future I will do my best to avoid using anything from Pearson.

I just downloaded it and it crashed as soon as I logged in. It says that it suddenly stopped so I tried again and the same thing happened. So I tried a few more times and got the same results. What a waste of time and energy.

I got this for A & P. I do the exercises on my phone whenever I find a small break in my day and before going to sleep. Very helpful and gives the actual text from the book after when reviewing ur answers.

I love the actual website. It's great! But this app will not let me log in. I know they say to contact them but why not just fix it? Seems pretty lazy to me.

Like others, I had difficulty accessing my course material through the app. I had logged in with my Mastering Physics account, but no course material was showing. It told me to login to the Pearson site and activate Dynamic Study, but my Mastering Physics login doesn't work on the Pearson site. So I went to the Mastering Physics site and logged in and then saw the option for dynamic studying. It's odd that my MP login doesn't work on the main Pearson site, but I was able to solve the problem quickly.

This app is a joke. They need to fixed this app, the purpose is great if it actually worked. I would love to have extra study time if I had extra time and could easily use my phone for it.

Ok it's official this App will not work with most android mobile device and the tech doesn't know why. Especially when I can get in with my browser through my mobile just not the app. The answer was just use the computer to access your course. When I don't own one. Great answer!!

I use pearsons mastering biology at university on my laptop never have any problems. The app is unable to recognise the user name and password I've used since starting university in September.

I have tried multiple times to log I to this app with both of my accounts. I have had no success. I can log in just fine to my accounts on my PC and using my phone internet, but the app is a no go. Extremely irritating!

The vocabulary and grammar for each chapter of the Arriba! Spanish text are lacking in content. At least this APP launches unlike the mobile etext APP. Pearson needs to either get with the times and develop better applications or lower their prices. A company shouldn't be able to adjust their pricing for inflation when they are incapable of advancing their product and services with the times as well.

Like a lot of reviews say, I can't even log in! I wish I could give 0 stars. If the app is not functioning as described then it deserves nothing more.

The only thing availible are these study modules. ..I would love to be able to listen to the mp3 tutor(like the mastering A&P with Pearson etext I got with my class!!) sessions on my android

All of these people are complaining about this very significant issue and the app creators have yet to fix anything. It's like they pretty much abandoned this app. Just delete this from the market if you're not going to fix the problem. None of us can log in.

Spent hundreds for this crap and can't even access a basic app. You'd think the millions that Pearson makes in unnecessary testing of children and adults, they'd be able to program a basic application that works. Unbelievable.

After figuring this out I hate the app cause it would have been amazing to access the data from my class. Being able to use my phone or tablet to do work with out going on chrome or Internet browser... but after talking to the tech support I say this app is useless for students that have lower than Bs/BA degree cause there is no real support for the app in those concepts... to bad mathlab is not open for us users that take math 201

Well modeled. Different from laptop, though. Laptop version, one immediately reviews wrong/ don't know questions. Which is helpful. I do enjoy using this App because I can put the blue filter on and take it on the go

I've used other study apps but this one seems to be seamless. There's no static; hasn't froze yet. The information is accurate, concise, and easy to read. And! continues where I left no matter how my session terminated. I like it.

I've been using the app to study and it's great! Suddenly I can no longer log in, I get an error message that says "Exception occurred during invocation of Web service". I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times with the same error message.

In the self test questions small errors in the text change the meaning, which means the correct answers are not necessarily the same as the ones in the app. Overall, a helpful study tool

I initially open the app and am prompted for credentials, cool. Enter my creds and it starts to proceed to the next screen and app crash. Re-launch and continuous crashes ensue. Uninstalled, re-installed no difference. Galaxy S6 running 6.01.

I've heard from some people that the app is great, but I've never been able to log in, always receiving the sane error message. I'd love to be able to study and quiz on mobile, especially since the regular mobile browser format isn't very good. Oh well.

This app is wonderful. I haven't had any bug issues yet, & I have been using the app for 3 weeks now. It brings dynamic studying with you, so you can study anywhere in your spare time. I can skip what I know and focus on what I don't, which helps focus my valuable study time & keeps me from getting burned out. I'm getting A's in microbiology because of this app!!!

Took a little bit to get signed in/set up properly, but really helpful for studying away from your textbook or computer. Good tie in with course content. The only thing is once a module is "downloaded" they still won't work if you're not on WiFi or data.

I was super excited when I saw this app because I wanted to be able to do the course assignments and the study plan while I'm at work rather than bringing my laptop. However, when I logged in I was unable to access that portion of my my class because this app only offers the "Dynamic Study Module" part and this specific class doesn't have that. It would be awesome if I could access my assignments in the same or similar way as I do in the computer.

Every time I try to log in it keeps telling me, "ERROR: external connection issue. Issue recognizing credentials", or something along those lines. Truth be told, I'm paraphrasing but the issue is still the same. Why can't I log in?! I find it very frustrating.

Constant login problems. Constantly crashing. I paid good money and it's impossible to even use. Won't let you download modules to do offline but you have to be online to use. Gives issues downloading modules from online. Can't even contact Tech support because they make it notoriously difficult to contact them. It's like they don't want you to.

Took off a star cause it crashes sometimes but overall great.

Would be useful if I could actually log onto it. Get it fixed!

I love this app! I download modules before I leave the house and do them throughout the day. I wish all my courses did this! Only thing I might change is to get the modules to say what they cover, so that some time can be saved figuring out what covers what.

Great app for quick an easy study for the times when I can't sit at my computer and go through the quizzes and activities. Love love love this app!

It is helpful just seems to freeze up more than it should. Would like to just click once for the answer submission as well.

Will let you login but after that it says that you don't have any books or courses with Pearson, which I clearly do because I have a book in their Etext app. Customer Service was zero help.

Registered and signed in for my class from my laptop. Downloaded the app to study when I'm out and about. App lets me login, but it says I don't have any books or classes - which is weird, because I am able to access both my book and Mastering Lab from my laptop. Thanks for getting my hopes up for nothing, Pearson.

I use the same credentials on my pc to login, but with ghis app they don't. Don't care much I was just going to give it a try.

Only suggestion I would have is the option to have more questions for the quiz modules but other than that works flawlessly. I don't have the e text for my book so I don't know whether this app can use that or not. Only thing I have are the learning module questions and they work flawlessly

Downloaded app a put my log in and password. and said external connection did not accept user credentials . I use a Samsung Note 4 please assist.

I'm logged into Pearson through my school canvas, everything works fine. In the app though, it will only let me log in. Then tells me I have no courses or books with pearson. If the app had the option to enter the course ID or user ID that would make this app actually helpful. I need to be able to do my homework away from my desk top.

Great way to learn what I'm reading before testing, but would like it better if it would change questions when you get it wrong.
