EvolveSMS (Text Messaging)

This is the only messaging app you'll need. It has everything you would need out of a standard messaging app, but this has excellent polish and design from the material design update. Archiving, theming, and desktop notifications are a few of the extremely useful tools Evolve offers. Paired with this excellent functionality is the beautiful new layout, representing material design in android lollipop. Overall the best messaging app there is on android. Only issue I have is deleting conversations take two or three tries before they actually archive

2 problems, 1 the security isn't really the greatest thing. It's easy to get into the private inbox. 2 after the update my new messages disappeared and didn't come back even after a restart.

Update: every time I try to send a gif, evolve says it exceeds the maximum size allowed. I switched to Textra and can send and receive them just fine, so sorry Evolve but bye. Original: I loved this app for years, paid for the customization pack ages ago and had it all nice and pretty. Got a new phone, installed this right away, and... Customization pack was gone, never to return. What did I pay for exactly?

After recent updates, oldest messages are coming first and to open the latest message I have scroll all the way down to open. It is happening for every incoming message. It is very cumbersome and time consuming. Please set it in such a way that latest message opens on the top and old message at lower end.

Luv app. But something thing has changed can't use Facebook photo in contacts. And can't send gifs. Limit exceed error.

Great app except every now and then, a white line appears near the bottom of the screen while texting and blocks view of some messages. Have to exit out then go back in. Great other than that.

Great app however after all I can't recieve anymore messages :( what's goin'on? Hope to fix this bug.

Such an improvement compared to Google's Hangout app (which duplicates every txt I received).

Dual sim support is good but some suggestions. When a message is viewed, there is no information whether it is from SIM1 or SIM2. Also when sending a message instead of showing sim1 and sim2 if it is possible to show the name (ie carrier or custom name provided for the sim) or would be more clear. Sending a contact (if not vcard at least provision to send as a text msg) is a basic feature of a messaging app. Why should be it in paid version

Getting use to it but so far it is just okay. I came from Go SMS pro and it was awesome until I couldn't receive text messages from certain people. It had to go but this so far is not an equal or upgrade option.

I can't edit my personal profile pic when I send out a message. It just shows a grey box with a generic contact icon in it. What can I do to add my own photo? I've tried googling the problem and can't seem to find anything about this problem. I have never had this issue in the past.

Just downloaded this because my previous sms app was lagging after a while. This one is doing the same thing and does not have as many customizable options. Gunna give it a go for a bit longer but I'm not satisfied.

I said, your mms is still not working. You said, check the faq logs. I say, yea the faq logs... Right.... The thing I always check to see if anything got fixed, like the mms which is STILL BROKEN. Again, explain to me why is it when I send a simple SMS, which just just a basic email, your app disconnects me from my WiFi. THIS IS THE ONLY APP THAT DOES THIS. Nothing else that I have used does this and I have use many texting apps. Tell me, when I try to delete a convo thread, IT DOES NOT DELETE IT. This app USED to be GOOD. btw your app was rated at 4.4 when it was able to integrate with Facebook. What is sad is that you still feel the need to tell your customers they are the ones mistaken. That is very sad on your part.

The DualSim support option is just plain stupid. Why implement this if we can't see which SIM we receive a text message on????

About time the mms is working.. I've been a supporter since you had sliding messages app.. Please add more customization for themes. Glad to be back using the best messaging app

This app needs work on mms messages bad other then that I love everything else I also paid extra for one of the packets I think there should be one premium package not 2 different packages that's stupid other then that good app I have a Galaxy s6 on 6.0.1 please if my mms doesn't work right I know none of the other devices do either I got one of the top phones please fix the mms thanks

Used a bunch of SMS apps, but I keep coming back to this one.

Horrible interface

Almost perfect! It has everything I need like no other. But there's an issue im facing. Whenever I delete some conversations, It keeps coming back after a minute or two. I tried deleting them 1by1 or altogether, sometimes it works, but most of the time, it doesn't :(

I tried no less than 10 other sms apps, this is the only one that had all the features I need, not to mention a host of others I did not even think of to want, but now love. The fact that I only had to pay very small one time fee for the extras I wanted makes it even better. Love this app!!

I tried to use this app for about an afternoon. It crashed regularly on my phone. At one point I thought that I had lost all my messages because all the conversations were gone. The interface seemed pretty okay, but I really didn't like how there was not an actual conversation page, just a conversation menu that pulls from the left. If it didn't crash on me so much, I would have probably continue to work with it.

Worked great on my Hiawei Mate 9, however I just got a LG V20 and I'm unable to delete individual msgs. I can delete a whole conversation, however when I try to delete an imdividual msg nothing happens. I get the delete confirmation dialog and I confirm, but the msg does not delete

This is not only the fastest way to get messages out to multiple people, it's also by far the most gorgeous sms/mms app on the app store. The skins are truly fantastic and bring a new level of satisfaction to the usage of evolve. It's great!

I really like this messaging app and the user interface. I will definitely rate this app 4 or 5 star if they fix the ghost text problem. I receive text from people and the text doesn't exist.
