Hold Screen ON: Face detection

App works great on my phone. Detects my face and keeps the screen on. It would be nice to not see the app running notification on the lock screen and drop down menu. I have to block all notification from the app to get rid of them, but then I lose the smiley face at the top too.

I like the app. It does what is designed to do with minimal stress on the battery. Some times though stops the service unintentionally. Any forthcoming updates?

After I switched to an LG V20 after my Samsung Note Edge died I was missing the Smart Stay function that all my Samsung's have had. This app perfectly reproduces it!

It works, but it keeps shutting off my LG V20 built in flash light. It can not be added to the app list.

Using this app since 2013, from jellybean to marshmallow. This app works and is awesome. It should be editors choice. Very underrated app.

Great app but it interferes with the camera on the Nexus 5 in both compatibility and normal mode. Fix that and it would be ideal and another reason why the Nexus 5 outstrips my S4 and S3

More often than not the app doesn't detect any face while I am using my phone.

Loving it so i bought the app. Suggestion: icon should disappear when face is not detected.

Phone keeps turning on even when locked

I actually loved this apk on nexus 4 but since I got nexus 5 I have this bug when camera is not accessible by this application. Even worse is that the camera remains bugged after this fail even when trying to launch a photo apk. This might be a nexus 5 hardware problem or kitkat 4.4 problem (4.4.2 did not solve this). Either way I bought this program before and hope to get it working on a new phone asap.

Using it on my Motorola G2, worksn great and did not eat battery life any more than usual, which was surprising. For those who read the JW app a lot, this is a must have. Keeps your screen alive for all your reading needs.

Before this I used Smartstay EX and find it is much more inferior (most of the time cannot recognize my face) to Samsung Smart Stay which I used before I use custom rom for my S4. And finally I found this app! It works perfectly just like Samsung Smart Stay! Hats off to Developer. Keep up the great job!

Is works fine but it first dims the screen and after that it makes it bright again. I would like it to stay bright all the time. Galaxy S3 with cm 10 I will definitely rate 5 star

I've tried all variants of "Smart Stay" on Google Play. None works quite as good as this app. The exception with this app is the innovative Application Binding rules that only allow user defined apps to work with HSO. Hence it doesn't interfere with camera app and causes FC's. Developer is very responsive and this app is only $0.99. I've used for several days now, it's working perfectly. Seems to have very minimal battery usage. I'm so happy to have Smart Stay working on CM10.1. Thank you Keyser!

It doesn't work on my Galaxy S. It always stops. And the refund doesn't work either. I feel like I'm being scammed.

It'd be better if the smile sign showed the actual state of detection and didn't change acc. to tapping. Also, the face and eyes detection is so so especially in low lighting.

Before buying the app, I was afraid that it wouldn't work well or drain battery fast, but boy was I wrong. It works splendedly, has no effect on the battery whatsoever. Best app of its kind if you miss SmartStay from TouchWiz.

The only face detection program that realy works Update:After last update the camera fail to open from first time. I have to reopen it to work, please fix the otherwise excellent program

The app works but out crashes the phone. Is there any way to make the app only check before the screen is about to shut off? It check a lot more frequently than is actually necessary.
