Quick Key - Mobile Grading App for Android
Couldn't get it to work. Instructions were vague and unhelpful. Uninstalling and looking for something better.
Great but scanner is a little finicky sometimes... but TOTAL worth it!!!!!!
easy to use
Used it a year ago...fell short. The devs contacted me and I started piloting it in a couple of my classes. Lots of new features, improved functionality, and scans better. I've used a lot of grading apps....this just moved to the front of the class.
I tried this out last year and thought it had potential but still needed work. I just tried it again and I must say I am very happy with the improvements.
Not as user friendly as zip grade
This app is a game changer! I have meaningful data before I even leave the classroom!
Perfect....
The app just now claimed my phone is "not connected to the interned but clearly I am since I was able to post this from that same devise. I spent a little over 3 hours trying to get this to connect or work at my school yesterday before leaving. I left crying of frustration (clearly I was eager since these are do soon). Advice on this app if you have android, DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS APP.
It's scanner is week.
It's not convenient. There are too many bugs still being worked out.
It claims my phone is not connected to the Internet. I have tried everything.
This app is the best product available to provide accuracy in grading assignments quickly while simultaneously allowing teachers to have more quality instructional time with students. It replacing the inefficiencies inaccuracies, and inconvenience of bulky scanning machines optimizing the use of technology. Thanks so much
Excellent app! Really quite time-saving for me.
When I first began using this app, I and some issues syncing the desktop version to the mobile version. Support was quick to respond and resolve the situation. This app really does make grading easier. I was able to grade 70 students tests in about 5 minutes. Grading was accurate and after a tiny bit of experimenting, I was able to see all of my student's results and was even able to break the results down by question. This is a really helpful feature that helps target where the deficiencies are.
Don't wast your time unless you have time to waste. Does a terrible job as scanning I had to go back and check every paper by hand. What should have taken me a few minutes turned into about 2 hours!!
After the most recent update (June 2016), none of my students sheets scan even though there is a better on screen guide to make sure your paper is lined up properly in front of the camera even with multiple taps to try and refocus the camera. I'm using an android device. Prior to the update, all my students' sheets scanned with no issues at all.
I tried this app a year ago and it didn't work. Would scan maybe 1 or 2 answer sheets out of 30. Tried different lighting. Would not work. Tried it again recently hoping that bugs would be fixed but it's still doing to same stuff. Aggravating
It took a few tries to get used to it. I stand up while grading with it and tap the screen to refocus the camera ovee each answer sheet. Once i got the hang of it it was amazing reliable and easy. I think they should give clearer instructions for android, as the iphone version just scans instantly. I cant go without it because i used it to send my grades into powerschool. Thank you for making this!
Quick Key is amazing, it just works! I can print my student answer sheets with their names and ids pre-filled in, and it integrates with Google Classroom and Powerschool. Support is fast and thorough. My school is now able to use data driven instruction in every classroom, with just paper and pencil, and my own phone or my school provided iPad.
Awesome, I love it!
Good program.
It looks pretty good but if its not
Id like this app so much..i hope sync app parallels to its web or vice versa for giving comprehensive outputs...
I was so happy to hear of an offline answer sheet grading app. Psshhh! This app does nothing beyond open. It does not scan the sheets. I've tried it across three devices and found that it just doesn't work.
Will not scan properly, just crashes with every 'successful' scan. Does not submit any data.
I _love_ the idea behind these kinds of apps. Using the camera on your smartphone to grade multiple-choice questions is so smart. I am a college physics professor and there is usually a portion of my exams that are multiple-choice. Getting away from Scantrons (and similar products) is what is drawing me to these apps. That said, in looking carefully at both GradeCam and Quick Key I think GradeCam is the clear winner. The options and interface are both more flexible and more intuitive (an impressible combination). Below are a few things that I tried to do with Quick Key and gave up on. I don't know whether these features are absent from Quick Key or if they were just very hard to find: - Vary the points each item is worth - Printable answer forms with a custom number of ID digits - Printable answer forms with a custom number of items - Handle student ID numbers that were incorrect (Quick Key Mobile said I could Rescan or Accept, but the Accept button didn't work). Quick Key has better pricing plans (if you ask me) but the features just aren't there.
I don't understand where the positive reviews are coming from. Probably stooges. Would not work on Asus HD 7 Android tablet. Seemed to work on Galaxy S3, but only one of three classes could be scanned. In that class it constantly said "student is not in class." This app should be removed from play store.
Не определяет бланк с ответами на вопросы. Сразу переходит на ручной ввод ответов на вопросы.
I have prepared a list of questions and answers. But does not respond to the test selection screen and the camera will not turn on :( Program sometimes "stopped working" gives the error. PS: I'm using HTC One M8 at Lolipop 5.0.1 Platform.
Happy to finally have this on android. Things keep getting better and better for you all.
I'm happy to see this app in android platform.
I'm still not sure of the reliability of the app because sometimes it shows some answers that were not chosen or were just blank.
Sits at 95% S4
Finally for Android! Best app for teachers!!!
Hope it support up to 50 questions

I used this app in the past and it worked very well. I went to use it today and the app will no longer scan the scorecards. I am using the older scorecards however the app isn't scanning (not even getting an error notification). I now have to mark my test manually. Tried on several different devices.
