About Barcode Reader and QR Scanner
Use your Android phone as a barcode and QR code scanner for PC and Mac. Scan a barcode with camera and barcode data is immediately sent to your computer - just like using USB barcode scanner. Supports all common barcode formats including UPC, EAN, ISBN, and QR codes.
Ideal solution for paying bills and organising CD / Blu-ray / DVD / VHS movie catalogs or book library. Works perfectly with all PC applications including Collectorz. Can be also used for finance, accounting, project management, wholesale, supply chain and retail tasks with ease.
You can also insert extra characters before and after barcode data for batch processing, for example enter-key after barcode will move automatically to next spreadsheet cell allowing you to scan multiple barcodes quickly.
For PC application supports both WiFi and Bluetooth connections. For Mac OS X WiFi connection is supported.

Got it to connect to my laptop, but needed it to work with at least one of two desktops at work....wouldn't connect to either...ports were open and services were running. Uninstalled.

The good...This is an incredible reader and works flawlessly with Windows XP on all my shipping programs replacing in fact the old reader I had which was wired so with limited range. I used to have to lift all these heavy packages to get them closer to the scanner...No more and I am delighted. The bad...It did not work on Windows 7 and there was no warning from the publisher. I presumed just like all of us that it would be compatible with all Windows...If that is the case, I would have paid $7.00 for not much use really since I need it to work on both systems to be effective. Otherwise, it would have gotten a *5* from me...Please let me know if there is anything you could do... Thank you

The app will not scan barcodes on curved surfaces, like bottles, which is what I wanted it for.

There is nothing that explains how to use BT and app automagically opens WiFi on load. Plus, 20 scans = trial not free.
