Kinomap Trainer for Android
Not connecting with kinetic trainer.
First off guys... You should not charge people subscription fees unless your apps and other software is 100% tested and rock solid. Example: I paid for this month, relogged in on all devices and still see the limited access banner... Why?.. At this point I'm not sure what I paid for. Another thing is videos.... Tried to test run the ride up the Stelvio - major fail... Video would freeze up, not play, map was moving crazy fast. At the end I rode 4 miles in 40 minutes which is way off.
Wouldn't detect Garmin speed sensor. Tried Wahoo Fitness and it picked it up just fine.
does what it does with few hiccups (i) video couldn't go on full screen when chromecasting. (ii) the current position orange bar on elevation graph did not move on the cast screen but it moved on the tablet screen. (iii) the other stats i.e. speed etc. seemed to be different between the cast screen and tablet screen, pretty certain not due to cast lag as the video was in sync on both screens. more to come.
I tried to use without any success with Bontrager Duotrap ANT+/BTLE Sensor and ant receiver inside Samsung Galaxy S5. It simply won't connect to ant sensor. Even if sensor is found on the sensor list. I tried on bluetooth but the same. In one on tenth trials it connects but drops connection after few minutes. Endemondo is reading fine cadence sensor. So it is something terrible wrong with app...
App won't connect to Wahoo Kickr. Pity, used to work before.
Continually disconnects and reconnects to different sensors and kickr for no reason mid ride
App can't keep ride data(speed, cadance, hr, watt, etc.) and share to activity apps (Strava, garmin connect, etc.)or facebook.
Good maps. Can't enter age as it defaults to 1991, couldn't pick my cycleops trainer ANT+ signal, or my heart rate monitor's Bluetooth or ANT+ signal. User interface is hard to navigate. Needs lots of work! Uninstalled

Really bad app could never connect sesnors via ANT+
Only thing it is missing is ANT+ HRM support but it sounds like that is on the way!
Didn't detect my new garmin sensor
Starts to load the video and then just hangs. Seems to be related to the length of the video. I've tried diffetent routers. Using Samsung tablet.
...as it doesn't work for most ANT+ when using a cable/dongle. It wouldn't be fair to rate this until all of the issues are worked out. As it stands, great idea and concept, but... lots of work to do before I'll even consider using it frequently.
Doesn't work with PM4 via USB cable or ANT+.

Android version does not support heart rate monitors and does not upload to services like Garmin Connect
Did not see my ant+ devices, so rather useless. But a very good idea if it worked.
Won't find my ANT+ devices on my phone. But other apps do
I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, but there seems to be no way of searching or filtering routes at all? There are a number of predefined lists (Recommended, Popular,...) to scroll through, but that is it. Can't find routes of a certain length, or difficulty/climb. Can't even seem to be able to find videos flagged as Favourites on the website. Without these things, it is a novelty, not a useful app.
Works with my Elite Qubo and Sony Experia z1 which has Ant+. Apparently still says it's Alpha version and not as refined as the iPad version. It does not show where you are on the elevation view, need to be fixed!
Although I realize this is a beta version of the app, there are a number of functions that should be included to improve the user experience. For instance, the ability to use filters to search for routes by distance, time, location, etc. would make using the app more user friendly. Also, local download of videos seems like it should have been included to improve the user experience. Although I have a solid 20 MBps internet connection, my very first workout on the Kinomap app froze 33 minutes into a 1-hour and 50-minute ride, which forced me to start the workout over. I appreciated being able to cast the screen of my Motorola Razr M to an external display using Chromecast, but like mentioned in a previous comment, the elevation profile does not show my position on the profile. I also could not find a way for the app to read the power sensor data transmitted by my Wahoo Fitness Kickr trainer. It would be more accurate to use the direct power information from my trainer rather than estimating power using a general purpose algorithm. Finally, with all of the missing functionality in the Android version compared to the IOS version, I cannot believe a free trial is not offered.
For the app I'm using Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 I use the Kinomap videos on my laptop through the Kinomap website and it is great. The app, not so much, at first when you open and you sign in the app looks great, your profile, your videos, and you can scroll through other videos to. But when I select one and click the play/GO button it just sits there. I got a Tacx cycletrainer for Christmas and wanted to use kinomaps to train but obviously not with the tablet.
It finds some Bluetooth and Ant+ devices on my Xperia Z2 tablet. But it crashes all the time. It would be good to have some free routes while it is this unusable. I also have no power meter, so I hope it works with just hr, speed and cadence.

This thing is garbage. It crashes every time I want it. Need a back to the drawing board.
