UCC First Year Experience

The UCC First Year Experience App is a digital initiative undertaken by University College Cork to improve communication, engagement and connectedness with incoming first year students.

The UCC First Year Experience App contains features such as an interactive campus map, a repository of student resources and a dynamic feed of the latest news and events around the college so that students can have all of the information about the university all in one location and at the touch of a button on their mobile devices whether online/offline.

In University College Cork, first year student success is a major focus. We put huge emphasis on student transition and adjustment to university life. We find ways of optimising the chances of success for students from different age groups, from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and with different socio-economic histories. UCC is committed to the First Year Student Experience, by providing students with a strong foundation for academic success and personal growth.
