Kidslox Parental Controls for Android
worst application ever do not install it makes your chld angry and frustrated and rude
I like this app, however, every time my daughter restarts her phone kidslox is disabled and I have to set up her phone all over again. She has caught on to this so I catch her restarting her phone constantly so it won't shut off once her limit is reached.
Can't delete it
Nice application
Paid for premium monthly subscription. Yet app does not work well on iPhone. Child unable to use phone after restricted schedule not once but multiple times. Is either unable to contact to server if not server is under maintenance. There was no notification sent to prior to the maintenance schedule. There no immediate response for help as well. Simple make my relationship with child bad cos. It does not work out as per agreement discussed with Kidslox installed. Seriously, considerly twice b4 downloading. Is sad.
It's worked the best out of the similar apps I've tried. It does have a pretty strict lockdown policy that won't allow you to whitelist apps (yet), so this locks things like non-stock apps. This can prevent some parent-approved apps like VOIP dialers from launching, which many folks use to save money on kids phones. UPDATE 5/16 - After docking a star, I'm restoring because they say they'll do a whitelist next month. If so, this will go to 5 stars.
Great app. the only thing is that it would be great if you come out with a computer software as well, I obviously did not read where it says this app was only for phones n tablets and thought it was for computers as well and that's why I got it BUT is too late now, anyways I'm making a good use of it....
I wish I could give it a zero Even when I turn lockdown mode off it still locks down my child Never delates Takes control of my phone
Don't get it it frust straights your children so dont get it.
Useless. My 10yr googled how to bypass it within 10 minutes of me giving him the device. He was abke to go into ios settings and delete the app profile..I got a notification that the device was no longer being managed. Completely useless.
Best app out of all I have tried. Works perfectly with ios and android. I can remotely manage all devices. Highly recommended.
Great parental app, this app helps to control the internet uses. Same need to available on all platform.
I love this on Android not so great on early iPhone.
Amazing application. If you thinking of parental control app, think Kidslox...
Brilliant app well worth the money xx
Works great on galaxy s7
Works great... with a shared responsibility between child and parent this control covers all your bases. If your child is trying to cheat this system it's your job to teach the child boundaries and trust.
Returned to give it another go as it used to have loads of bugs.
You need a solution and we think this the best one....
Generally works well. Slightly buggy e.g. on ipad - when lockdown occurs while playing minecraft, it does not totally lock down the device. My daughter just immediately unlocked the Ipad and found she could still continue playing. On Android - restart required if changes made to kidslox mode. Otherwise it won't take effect.
Great concept, but major flaw. I REALLY wanted to like it. If the Wi-Fi is turned off before the device locks down, the device WON'T lock down. I contacted customer support and it was nothing that they can do. I like this app better than ScreenTime, but at least ScreenTime will lock when it was supposed to.
Love this app to control the iPads from an Android device. Only had an issue when there was an update and the devices did not download without having to uninstall and reinstall on all devices.
Works pretty well. The scheduled time limits doesn't seem to lock the device while it's in use. I've had to manually lock it down but it is still in the beta stages. Otherwise it would be 5 stars
My kids spend way too much time on screens. This app finally gives me a way to control it!
I always need internet for adding or removing any permission in my mobile also. P.S Uninstalling this
Works well most of the time. Sometimes takes long to switch modes but a very useful app in all.
Web filtering not working, it does not direct me to VPN setting at all
Love being able to shut down kids ipads.
kidslox is a very useful app and very efficient app for time control of smartphone and tablets. Recommended!
Good for control handphone my child.
Now works on both android and IOS. Computer says no is better than mum and dad saying no. I like the lockdown concept in v2 and daily time limits is getting there
Never unlocks when I want it to. Spend my entire commute trying to get daughters phone to turn back on!
Does not lock iPhone with KidsLox lock screen like it does with Android. Wish it did. Kids can still use their password on iPhone and use it. I wanted to totally lock them out. Gonna look for something else.
It's good when it works but seems somewhat unstable. Let's hope the latest version has sorted this.
Dad got it on this
Nice setup and great price
Hate it
App was working great the first week we had it. Now it has my son's ipod in lock down mode but says it's in child mode. Can't get his apps back! Update: Concept is still great. Execution just isn't there. Wasted my money on the premium version. Still isn't keeping track of time used and also rearranging apps everytime I have to manually lock it down.
To many glitches. Worked good for 2 days. Sad because I wanted it to work so bad.

Ignore a lot of the 1 star reviews, I'm 99.9% positive they're from the children themselves that are being locked, blocked and limited. This app works great, I used it on my daughters iPhone 6S and it does its job and does it well. The ability to change the settings remotely from my phone or the web is a HUGE plus. Some people made the comment that on iPhone the app profile can be deleted which circumvents the app, however it does immediately notify you when it happens. My solution? Let them know if she does it, I'll know and she will lose the device PERMANENTLY. People, we are adults and parents. Have some backbone. If they get upset with you because of the consequences of breaking the rules, good, that's real life.
