Simple Finance & Debt Manager

At first this app was great I love the layout. It was the only app I found that I really liked. But now all it does is crash every time I try to record a payment. Please fix. Update app fixed. Developer is super helpful, if you email with any questions or problems he will respond back right away. Not only does he answer your questions but in my experience will fix the bugs in the app that day. Hands down awesome app.

Can you add an option for paying biweekly instead of just a monthly payment? I have 26 pay periods per year as opposed to just 24 that most have

I have been looking for something like this for a year. I love the new check register function and the snow ball on the debt side. I enter what I have to pay on the check register and what is coming out automatically and I enter transactions for miscellaneous things as I go along. It really helps me see what I have left for disposable income. I like the fact that it doesn't retrieve anything from your bank account. I didn't want that. Again, great app!

I only downloaded this app because the screenshots made it appear the balances and transactions could be automatically retrieved. I find it extremely tedious I would have to enter each transaction individually. For this app to cost as much as it does this should be done automatically. Really would like my money back. There are free apps that do more. Mint bills is free and automatically records balances and debits. Don't download this app. I do not recommend.

So far, application is easy to use. But when accounts have a negative balance there's no way to enter it. This should be corrected. Then, I will give you a 5-Star rating!

I had more than three debts to juggle so I upgraded, but for some reason it didn't use the data I had already entered. It also wouldn't let me rearrange the order without deleting to get them rekeyed in the right order. The calculation window should show when a debt is paid off and put only the balance due on it, moving the rest to the next debt being tackled. I can't tell if this is a display glitch or a calculation glitch without debugging it myself. I like that I can see all the way to the end, though.

I use it all the time to keep track of my debts and spending habits. Great customer service. I notified the developer of an issue and got a reply very quickly.

Way to Kick Some Serious Lettuce! Thanks Dev. For the improvements. The update makes this much more useful. Kicking Lettuce. Ya, I like it. Interested in that story. Bi-Weekley would be nice as Mayra S. has suggested.

If your are expecting an elaborate program that gives you a breakdown of every thing like quicken..go buy quicken. I think it's 70 dollar's.. If you want your balances at the tip of your fingers with APR to make debt payoff just a bit easier without having to logg in to every single Bank. This is your application..emailed the developer with an issue.. Response within minutes

Would suggest bi weekly payments for those who get paid bi weekly.

Ok, but the user, not the app, must do the calculations for paying off debt earlier. I would think the app would do this for me. It is helpful, but I wanted something that would do more calculations to help me find the best approach to early payoff.

One suggestion for future update would be to change payment frequency to include monthly and bi weekly payments

The plan is very easy to understand and as long as you are committed, this is a great tool for a debt free lifestyle.

Update:Tweaked it by adding a "debt account" with the amount that I want to pay extra and put zeros in the other categories. Much more useful debt pay off app now. But still think a collab with the "Erase Debt Payoff Planner" guys (who offer an awesome app, but it's not as pretty as this one) would be an amazing app and partnership. Patiently awaiting an update with an intergration of these two apps ☺

I expected this to be like the free version but with some extras. I can't select an overall payment amount to see my payoff options like the other version.

It's really disappointing that there seems to be no way to import from the free version of this app. That's the only thing holding me back from rating 5 stars. Update: I just updated the rating to 5 stars since they added the import feature.

Exactly what I wanted

I just uploaded to pro- fantastic! I can list all my debts & choose the order to pay them. even gives payment reminders. Does everything promised-great job!!! There are a few improvements that I suggest. 1. Allow for a snowball. 2. Show the progress being made-ie a bar with 11% paid for each debt-so motivating 3. A bit more visual simulation for the easily distracted. 4. Allow custom ordering debt IE by interest but pay 1 small bill 1st. Overall great app!

I love the new export feature! It allows me to make my own little log so I can keep track of my plan, or make changes if I happen to make different payments one month from another. I also like the new layout. I've tried other apps and programs, but this one covers what I'm looking for. The developer has been really quick with responses to any questions or concerns. When there's a minor bug (which happens with any app) they immediately fix it and let you know. Everyone with debt that just wants a quick and simple payment plan should use this.

It was great to compile your debt and lay it out for minimum payments, but I upgraded to the pro thinking it would have options (like if I paid more than minimum payments how it would effect paying off sooner) but it was my fault I suppose for not researching the app before buying.

The ability to see a debt repayment plan is great. BUT why do I have to pay $ to add 5 accounts? AND THAT'S ALL I GET. I assumed that when I paid for it I would get some useful features. Something like: an ability to track payments on accounts (or at least something remotely intuitive), a "payment due" tracker and reminder, some coaching tips on debt repayment strategies, a monthly decrease when I mark it as paid, etc. Basically, if I'm going to drop even $1-2 it needs to actually improve.

Every thing about this app is first class. This is the app I have been looking for! Appreciate there are NO information agreements upon installation. Elegant and easy to use. If you want to play with numbers as you pay down your debt, this is your tool! Thank you to the developers. (I upgraded from the free version to support your continued efforts. )

I am disappointed that this doesn't have more of a debt snowball configuration! After you pay off one thing it would be nice to see where if you applied that money to another bill how much quicker you could get it paid down.

Very simple and clean tool to use to estimate debt payoff. Secure since its not linked to any accounts. Would like the ability to pull up each debt separately instead of just tge full list.
