Kia Hotspot for Android
Why on earth does this need location permission to work? All it needs to do is detect Bluetooth connection to car and then optionally switch the WiFi hotspot on.
As a previous revue, have to sometime reboot phone
I knew an app like this was needed when I ordered my new kia ceed and to be honest I was very impressed when I found this had been created. It's easy to use and set up but there is one slight issue. Yes it switches off wifi and switches on the phones Internet hotspot when I'm in the car but when I leave the car the car it doesn't always switch the wifi back on and you have to do this manually which if you forget to check can mean your using data rather than wifi. That could prove costly for some people.
Excellent idea. Automatically connects WiFi hotspot as you get in you car (like it does with Bluetooth) then disables the hotspot as you leave the car. It also re-enables WiFi on your phone once you have left the car.
Great idea. Worked fine on my previous phone. Now upgraded to a Google Pixel with Android 7.1.2 and it appears to connect but not fully. When you look in Tethering and Portable Hotspot on the phone the slider is on. You see the Hotspot appear in Wireless Networks but the IP routing is not correct, no gateway for example. Its a nuisance cant blame the app because it worked before. Needs updating for Android 7.

Works Great, but sometimes it leave the hotspot in a 'disconnecting' state and then it can't start anymore. The only thing to fix it is reboot the smartphone. But all in all a Great app.
