This app was a great idea. Its simple interface allows for learning the micros easy and fast. I went through all the levels perfectly in just minutes but the point is its memory planting capabilities are on point. The next version should use real faces on video with maybe slow-mo for training. Those updates will get 5 stars. Great Job.

Very good explaination/tutorial and software. I wish it had and elite stage, where it flashed much faster.

The pictures didnt match the description. The first 2 pics were the same. Then the following ones were out of order.

It was really basic. Training is good for beginners to just get started. But the challenge mode isn't that great. The questions were only from 4 emotions. Would be better if it was a real face

Not even close to the real thing. Don't waste your time. Nothing like Paul Ekman's work which I have been participating in for years

I hate how people are saying it needs more emotions because these are the 7 primary emotions plus shame and the others usually vary from person to person

To the person that made this: This is a great app. Is there any possible way to update it to where it lets you know which ones you got wrong at the end and what the correct answer was? Overall, great job.

This is such a novel idea I ain't gonna knock it for a couple flaws (could show incorrect answers, could show real speed examples, etc).

Too Easy: easily made it to next difficulty levels in one try, maybe younger kids would find it challenging. Not Enough Variety: which is why it was so easy. Only a few expressions available, not exactly useful. Training Mode, while unnecessary imo, is a nice touch (would willingly trade it for a much larger selection of expressions/faces).

It's interesting for maybe two minutes then it gets boring. It's a good concept though.

Fun...but the facial expressions flash by just a nanosecond too quickly.

It's not "the best" but for Android, this is really good! Keeps certain expressions planted in your brain.

I was looking for a simple tool to try to teach my students how to read when people are lying and this takes Paul Eikman's work and gives a quick visual tutorial. The one thing I'd say, is that the "harder" levels are actually easier because they make you think about the changes rather than what you are looking at. I would like a different layer where instead of a "Disgust" drawing interrupting a "neutral" drawing for a fraction of a second, we see the expression change only slightly in that direction for harder levels. (closer to real life) So the change for the harder levels wouldn't be the time that the expression is shown but rather the degree of change.

An excellent and free deception training app, FaceORama challenges the user to detect microexpressions in fractions of a second. The various degrees of difficulty allow each user to go at their own rate while the training mode is invaluable to newcomers. Overall it was quite challenging, although I was able to complete expert difficulty in less than 15 attempts.

Really useful and great app. Nice and simple interface that gets straight to the point. I would love to see new emotions and higher difficulties to test on!

I loved it, although I bested both Medium and Expert difficulty in one try. I just had to get fear and surprise straight. It'll be good for continuing conditioning.

Great b/c it's free, but graphical rep of emotion is too fake

Very happily pleased with this app. Took me forever to get to stage 2! Could do with more expressions or perhaps not as I would perhaps never graduate to next stage
