This simple homescreen widget will expand your status bar with a single press. Choose from 5 different styles and various colors.
**New Feature**
You can now add the DropDown Widget as a shortcut instead of a widget by longpressing the homescreen and choosing "Shortcuts", then press "DropDown Widget" in the list. This will allow you to pin the icon to your dock with many of the third-party launchers available in the market (eg. LauncherPro, ADW, etc..) See the 3rd screenshot. You can download a pack of icons to use as shortcut icons here:

I recently cracked my screen, resulting in the top 1/4" becoming unresponsive. This widget was exactly what I needed to regain full functionality!!!

It was working fine on kitkat but as I upgraded my phone to lollipop it's not working at all. Hope it will be upgraded soon

Takes up 20MB of RAM and doesn't work properly - it flickers for some reason. Status Bar Expander takes up only 2MB and works flawlessly

Excellent. I hide my status bar with a launcher & this gives me access to my notifications sans status bar. Problem solved!
