Shell Car Wash App

Trying to sign in on an existing account on S6, giving error 'Invalid xml syntax,.

This app worked so well last winter but this time it's giving problems. It doesn't show any gas station near by anymore. it shows a blank page. My main concern is I click the start wash yellow button and it takes about 30 seconds then gives me replacement code. 1 of 7 divice works this year as we use group car wash.

Not being able to view the activities on Android anymore.

My AVL Pro antivirus software is reporting this application as containing the G-Ware/Android.Hiddad.b[exp,fra,opc] malware. Please look into this.

The app doesn't work at the gas station. It's saying they don't work on old android phone and mine is the pixel 2.

Doesn't work. Pull up to the wash, press the button and.. Nothing. Thanks shell. Worked ONE time. Never again. Also monitors your phone calls? Your permissions are unnecessary and creepy.

I have tried 7 times after downloaded this app. There is only 1 time it did't work but it provided me the replacement code automatically. It works for both Samsung S8 plus and S6 plus Edge of our mobiles. I love this app.

This app sucks hasnt been working for last 3 weeks and gas station staff arent very helpful either wont be buying car wash from shell their competitors are much helpful

This app is junk I was infront of carwash and I open the app said start carwash try many times but didn't work untill the vehicle line up behind me

Locate page mostly empty, it shows wash locations only once during my several attempts. Last week there was an issue with server and app just freeze on startup, there no proper timeout and error handling.

Worst app ever. Does not work. And when you call the call centre, they act stupid as if this is the first time theyve heard of it not working.

It's working fine for me. To have it working properly: 1) drive to the keypad. 2) open the app 3) put the phone near the keypad 4) wait for the button (start wash) to turn orange 5) press (start wash) and wait for the app to communicate with the keypad.

Stupid app! 1) it never works but at least gives me a replacement code -- it complains that my phone is old but mine is an LG G5 running Android 7.1 (not the latest but quite recent)! 2) Permission: I can understand it requires bluetooth to connect to the car wash control panel and GPS to locate the car wash location BUT why it needs a whole slew of others such as camera, contacts, storage, telephone, and device ID? The reason I have to use it as my wife keeps the car wash card in her car so it is more convenient for me the use the app.

The idea is great and very useful but app functionality is disaster. It doesn't work 9 out of 10 times! Sometimes says it's not compatible with older android devices! (It's note8) Sometimes you open the app and all you is the frozen first image of the app! For 20 minutes... It's just awful

Good app, like being able to start the car wash from my phone. Would give 4 stars if it provided real-time syatus of a car wash so I don't waste a journey to a closed location. If it could provide push notifications on status of favourite locations then I would give 5 stars.

Love how you can start the carwash from the app. Always works for me. Its so cool!

Very less car wash places, need to wait atleast 40 min to get car wash. Gas station never issue ticket or code to get car wash for next day.

Tried 4 phones only one can open the car wash door.

Why does the app need permission to access call information ???

Locate page does not work consistently.

Excellent app. Love it

The automatic option never works for me. I always have to use the manual code entry option. And the latest update seems to have broken the wash type selection option (touchless / soft cloth).

Last update broke it. Now it won't connect via Bluetooth and I have to use a code every time. Used to work better. It's better than Petrocanada because it has an app but they really need to fix the bugs.

Bluetooth is completely broken. You can use replacement code but that's not the point to this app, it's supposed to work via Bluetooth.

I've only gotten the app to start the carwash successfully twice and I've been using it for about 6 months. I just read a review that says to open it when you get to the keypad and not before so I will try that. For now I just use it to see how many days I have left. I haven't seen a feature that allows you to generate a manual code - I always have to swipe my card.

This app works perfectly for me all the time! If the app isn't able to automatically start the car wash, the app generates a wash code that I can manually enter.

Do not download. App doesn't work. Three separate attempts at two different locations. Drove away all three times.

It worked the first 5 times we washed the car, then it started giving replacement codes... Now it doesn't work at all and I need to use the card to swipe. Very good idea, not very well executed.

Never works properly. The "Start Wash" button takes over a min to turn yellow, then after pressing it, it won't even start the wash. Have to then wait even longer until it provides a manual code to enter. If they cant get the app to connect and start the wash automatically, then perhaps there should be an option to just provide a code instantly rather then having that as the backup option.

Terrible app. Not user friendly (which is worse because it is a simole app). The location finder does not work so I have to use Google Maps to find locations. Needs work.

App has never worked yet. Anyone have any success with it. At the car wash, it turns yellow, then nothing happens. 2 minutes later it gives me a code I can use. Get it together SHELL!!

it is a good idea,but sometime couldn't connect with server so noway to open app. data is required also, your keypad should connect with server and the app just needs to connect via bluetooth to send the id which will improve availibity a lot

The app was completely down one day on both my dad's oneplus and my Nexus 6p. Today quite a few cars ahead of us didn't get the app working. Either the app is a complete failure or some of the Shell locations Bluetooth don't work, or both. Also the staff at Shell located at Enterprise Blvd & Kennedy Rd in Toronto is utterly USELESS and UNHELPFULL!!!

This app is truly junk. I haven't had one instance in which the app actually worked. The app starts up, Bluetooth is then enabled and the app freezes on the main screen. I then have to go to the gas bar and advise the clerk the app isn't working and then go back to the carwash as the clerk manually overrides the system in order for me to was my car. You would think with all these complaints Shell would try to improve this app.
