Auto Forward SMS

Auto Forward SMS is a text forwarding app which can:

★ Auto forward ALL incoming SMS from Phone 1 to Phone 2
(e.g. your old phone to new phone, or personal phone to work phone)

★ You can also forward ALL incoming SMS to an EMAIL address

★ Toggle ON/OFF. No need to uninstall app when you don't need it

★ Original sender's number is appended to the forwarded SMS (to Phone 2)

PLUS....

★ Create Tasks to ONLY FWD SMS from certain numbers to your selected Contacts & Groups

QUICK TIPS ----------------------------------------------

Make sure:
- Phones are switched on and able to send/receive SMS

- Forward-to number is formatted correctly ..... for fwding overseas test with or without country code or +

- Your Default messaging app is your phone's default (not What's App etc)

- No security blocks on either phones (sending or receiving phone)

- You don't have Restrict Background Data or setting interfering with the app

If you're using Keyword filter, make sure it's the correct word/s and you're not accidentally blocking SMS (test with and without keywords).

If you get SMS like bank alerts that have no numbers, but are from a word SenderID, example MD-BANK or MYBANK, the app can handle these. Just Create Task and add the Sender ID as the From Phone Number box. Create multiple Tasks. Do not add keywords unless you need to filter.

CREATE MULTIPLE TASKS
Create as many Tasks as you need. Have multiple Tasks running, plus delete or edit Tasks anytime

KEEP TRACK OF IN/OUT FROM YOUR DEFAULT MESSAGING APP
Incoming and forwarded SMS will be in your phone's default Messaging program.

...note: if you use other text apps like FB Messenger these may interfere with app. Ensure your default SMS app is Android Messaging or your phone's DEFAULT SMS app.

MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS ON & IN MOBILE/CELL RANGE
For the app to work your phone must be on and able to receive/send SMS

TIP FOR U.S. NUMBERS
If you are having issues forwarding SMS, try the Forward-to number without the "+1" or "1" country code.

For example, if you have 12XXXXXXX as your number to forward to, instead try: 2XXXXXXX.

WARNING
We're confident the app does what it says (and we test it often). But there is no such thing as a 100% guarantee that your Contacts will get a forwarded SMS from your phone via this app. Delivery relies on factors beyond our control, such as your telco's reliability, a phone being on and/ or in a good reception area, you having enough SMS credits, your recipients' phones switched off /out of range, plus any software errors which may cause the app not to work.
