Great tips

No good for tourists from outside of Ireland, because it requires Internet access to work, so be prepared for a large roaming data bill when you get home!

I can't believe this is a free app! It's designed beautifully, all of the images are clear and high quality. It's very straightforward, everything is separated into simple categories and the different regions are colour-coded throughout, which makes it simple to find what you're looking for! It covers everything you need for a stay in Kerry: Where to stay, where to eat and what to do. My personal favourite is "The Best Walks in Kerry" section. I'd recommend this to both visitors and locals alike, because it's both informative and interesting, and I find apps like this are great tools when out with children. The included pictures of wildlife are perfect for getting kids involved, spotting what they see in the app on their walk. I can't wait to see this part of the app grow and develop! I'd be here all year if I tried to explain all the highlights of the Kerry Gems app. The "What to Know about Kerry" section is as extensive as any guidebook, with insights on the history of Kerry, Folklore and much more.There are absolutely no adverts, it's clear a massive effort went into compiling this and for the amount of material you get this app is invaluable.

Very nice so far, the pictures are beautiful and serve their job for attracting tourism. The pictures could be smaller or a zooming feature would improve it, but all together is nice.

Very helpful for someone with small children

This app is based on a booklet widely distributed in the Kerry area. It has some good info but it has not been properly optimised for mobile use.

Unfortunately the images are way too large, lacks GPS, hard to navigate. Needs a lot of work.
