Vehicle Logbook

The app is great. I love the ability in the pro version to backup the data to Dropbox and export to CSV. My only complaint is the odometer entry control. I wish I could just type in the numbers instead of repeatedly tapping + and - buttons. As time goes by it gets slower. There seems to be no way to clear the log file.

This is a great app. Very intuitive and just what I needed to record my work miles. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star app is the odometer entry. It is just a bunch of plus and minus signs. It would be much simpler to have a numeric entry through the keyboard so that the user doesn't have to press the plus and minus signs in order to input milage.

I give it 10 stars. I cant tell you how much aggravation I dont have to deal with anymore. Just completed 1 full year of using mileage log and it has made my "point to point" life so much easier. Kept track of all my mileage point to point. No more dog eared paper, no more loosing pages. Life is good! And as a Bonus, I printed my log for my tax preparer! What simplicity. All I can say is TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT!

Nice app. 1) the number control is clever, however it should allow wrapping around 0 ... 89012 and 21098 etc. 2) There is a bug in CSV export. When value contains comma it needs to be surrounded by double quotes. 3) the support email address is invalid.

I'm a contractor who only travels to one or two sites a day. Works great for me. I only wish it would give me a monthly breakdown of kilometres travelled rather than a long daily list format. I understand I can select a date range to export but it would be convenient to see this from app. Thanks again

Easy to use free version and I intend to purchase it. ## After purchasing and using it for a while the only complaint I have is the interface. I need to delete the history one entry at a time. It's doable but we need maybe a date range delete option.

It's nearly impossible to tell if you are toggling any setting. For example, to find out if I have kilometers or miles selected, I have to go and attempt to create a new log. Without doing that, I have no idea which one of the 2 are selected. These settings are used all over the app and that is seriously preventing me from buying the premium version of the app.

Does exactly what I want it to do. I want an app that I can log mileage on and this does exactly that. I have tried some that try to automate things but they just don't quite do it well enough. This does what it claims to do.

would be a 5 with the following: 1- could type numbers in or if the scroll was continuous. having to scroll down to 0 from 9 is annoying. 2- if purpose/destination could be saved permanently, possibly with a number of miles for the trip as a tentative predictor

I get paid for my trips. This app will not show what trips was paid for. I would like to see something like the business /private key. Only have it say paid. Maybe write the word paid for the backups

I downloaded the app and it made my life much easier. Able to maintain the log without the need to keep losing pages, and the ability to export to CVS is a plus. Really handy when tax season comes around. I definitely recommend it! !

I have been using this app for a long time now, but, I recently uninstalled it by mistake and did not connect it to my Dropbox. Is there anyway to get my previous logs back?

I do love how simple this app is but I wish there were just a few updates. 1) An auto back up to Dropbox...I just lost 2 months of miles 2) Easier to identify toggles...I always export twice b/c it's not intuitive. 3) Faster entry would also be nice but an auto back up feature is a higher priority for me.

The log is easy to use however you cannot export the files you select, regardless of method. Wouldn't backup, wouldn't email, wouldn't save . Support was no help. Waste of time and money.

Easy to enter data but haven't been able to export a log file by email, either pdf or csv format. Files arrive but are empty. Useless for me.

Does exactly what I need it to do. Only annoying niggle is how you enter the mileage.

Good app but extremely sluggish and unresponsive. Takes a looong time to load. Makes it painfull to use. I also agree with other reviews that the counter should roll over from 9 to 1 like the time counter does. Otherwise it does what I want it to.

Is there anyway i can recover all my logs as my phone updated and all apps where deleted it updated to lolipop on my galaxy s5 and now i cant seem to get any backups ..... also would be great for app to back automatically to dropbox please help its month of logs i really need

Apparently the publishers of this app are out of business. Support e-mails are undeliverable, and their website domain name is available. too bad because it is a very good app.

Would like to see the export to CSV break the starting and ending mileage out in separate cells instead combining them in a single cell. This would be helpful when importing into a spreadsheet that uses the data for calculations.

It's been easy to enter trips consecutively, so it keeps me on top of my mileage reports for work. Two improvements: make the counter wrap, so I don't have to tap 8 times to go from 9 to 1; and fix the lag - why does it take several seconds to switch screens? This doesn't seem like a demanding app, so why the delay? UPDATE: The delay continues to irritate me. I log miles when I get in my car to go somewhere. I'm thinking I'll complete June and then switch to another app. Also, data held hostage unless I pay

Have used and loved it for 3 months. Great for tracking mileage for work purpose. Just upgraded to Pro, backed it up/exported in hopes of not losing info when changing to new phone, but new phone doesn't give me access to Pro perks. Sent error report and it bounced back undeliverable. I don't want to pay twice for this app.

It's really a great little app. But the fact that entering in your odometer reading requires you to scroll up and down each number individually as opposed to being able to type in the numbers is a make or break for me. Ain't nobody got time for that!! (You'll see what I mean)

Great tracking tool. It does exactly what I need it to do. The only hangup is inputting g new vehicle and the info is in CAPS rather user defined. Other than that a very good app. Thanks.

This would be the perfect app if you could enter the mileage simply by typing from the number pad. Instead you have to hit the plus or minus sign multiple time for each digit which takes much longer. Not sure why so many mileage apps make this part so time consuming. Other than that, it is a great app.

I like the simple convenience of the app. I like that if you buy the pay version you can make a backup of your log. It, however, has a few bugs and I feel like the creator is no longer doing anything to improve the app or fix bugs in it.

I wanted an app that was not driven by GPS. This is it. I've used it for one month and am very pleased with the results. No more paper tracking. No more pens / pencils that don't work when it is cold. The only negative is the logo screen that appears whenever you start the app. It needs to go away sooner. Still, it is well worth the small price for the premium version.

Only gripe is no ability to write notes on each log and the toggles could be colored better, the gray/black can be confusing leading to errors/corrections. This is the only log I've found that I look forward to using, it's that easy, clean and relevant. Thank you for developing a welcome addition to the workload!

OK this app looks like its exactly what I want to track mileage, and odometer start stop values for business and personal yada yada yada.. but here's my issue.. its seems nothing more than what I could do with a spreadsheet on my phone? or what I do presently with pen and paper. what I'm looking for is for this to link with my cars Bluetooth odb2 connector when the keys turned thus starting a trip, the app takes the odometer reading and a gps start point, then takes the same when turning of the ignition and fills in this data automatically, updating an ongoing spreadsheet to my google drive or storage area. now then that I would be happy to invest in! so all in all from what I've seen of this app its tidy, neat, does what you want in a simple way but lacking what's really needed for me.

Great easy app to use straight forward, I tried at least 5 others either too much stuff or not user-friendly.

You have no option to set your start and end points... Really nice other than that point which rules this out for me. How do I get a refund?

App tells me how to start a trip, but nowhere does it show how to end it. One would think the GPS would pick up that the vehicle was stopped for an hour. It correctly gave the distance to the destinations but did not update the odometer ( which is a pain in the butt to update, BTW).

Best fuel logger app I've come across... Could do with a UI update, some of the UI looks pixelated on HD screens. Overall not a bad app though

I would like to be able to get a report of total mileage on each vehicle for a specified time period. Also don't need to see each individual mileage entry and wished it was per vehicle.

Easy to use app for tracking daily mileage. Only wish is that there was a weekly.monthly cumulative function so I don't have to do that higher math at expense report time.

This app has saved me a lot of time. I used to write down information about each trip in a log book, but with this app I said goodbye to it!

This is exactly what I need as someone who takes daily trips and gets reimbursed for mileage monthly. I just export my mileage for the month as a PDF, print it, and turn it in!

Simple tracking of each leg of a journey with an easy input (number input method could be easier). No GPS attempting to control app.

i like the app for setting the start of day and calculating fillups and monthly milage. a few modifications; a category screen to separate the private from the business allowing quick add and give totals and percentages, and a gas oil wash maintenance screen to collect costs in one place, a sync to pc, and a way to add milage with voice. These would add to the ease of use and make this useful for tax info.
