Got frustrated with it not alarming when my keys were out of range. Took the fob off my keychain and left it at the office. Phone started complaining 18 hours later that my keys were out of range, and last known location was my house! No app update in over a year equals an unsupported product in my book. No app is so perfect that it doesn't need to be updated for that long. Uninstalling and returning to Amazon.

The app often loses connection with your key fob. Randomly alarms both phone and key fob for no reason. Tried unistslling and reinstalling , no help. Try different smart phones, no help. I didn't pay to be a beta tester! Get your stuff together!

I don't understand why you Republicans hate this, just be happy with what you got. Keep trying and it should eventually do something. As an optimist I will continue to have faith in Kensington, peace in the mideast, end to famine, pestulence, wars, boils, frogs and vote for Hillary. Stay thirsty my friend.

Software was updated April 2016, but only says supports Galaxy upto S4, when we're up to at 7. Doesn't seem they're interested in supporting their product much. I have an S6 and it basically works, except that it loses connection and alarms randomly go off even if there's only inches of separation and even if it's in a safe Zone (my house). Dependability of the Bluetooth connection seems to be the only real issue, but it fails so often it's hardly useful. I bought 4 & same problem with all.

A bit disappointing. Using a tag with HTC M8. From the write up I thought it would alarm when the tag moved out of range of the Bluetooth on the phone. It doesn't. Also the bluetooth connection seems to drop out regularly. Most of the hype around the product assumes use of the fob and with an IOS device unfortunately the retailer did not understand this. Downgraded the rating as it regularly refuses to find the tage despite being paired in Bluetooth. Shame Kensington are not maintaining the app.

Please refrain from purchasing this product it is garbage, I tossed up buying this vs the trackr and regret getting it, the app is sloppy and doesn't even work properly. I got it connected and then I walked away with my phone and the alarm wouldn't even sound. Furthermore, the proximity sensor indicated me the tag being right next to when I was 20m away and wouldn't even update showing my distance as I walked away, only showing that it was right next to me. Then I reset the app and it couldn't find the tag

Just installed on my GALAXY S6 Edge plus, will not give alarm or find the fob after initial set up, I guess I will try and return it and get a refund

This app may be free but you certainly pay for the tags it is supposed to talk to. Without a working app the tags are worthless. The problem I have is that both alarm and find features doesn't work most of the time. Seems like poor Bluetooth connection/reconnection because it works again after killing the app, which I have to do several times a day. Essentially there is a great chance this app will fail to notify me when one day I leave my keys somewhere I shouldn't.

Total junk. Barely works. Very inconsistent. Great idea terribly executed.

Installed it on LG G3 and Samsung Tab 3. Not working. Application is scanning the fob with end less timing. My money is wasted now.

This is trouble!!!!! It's suppose to be compatible with my phone, but it doesn't connect at all. It keeps asking for a pin to connect to my phone. But there is no pin. I have tried 0000 and 1234 for the pin but still now working. Don't spend your time or money on this.

Will give 5 stars and update review if you could adjust alarm sensitivity/distance. Right now the distance is way too far to be affective for me.

U70%

Loses the connection. Won't reconnect. False alarm. Tells you where the fob was yesterday. Works great after reboot for about 20mins then stops trying.

This doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It loads up and connects with the fob after a few tries. Then it loses connection (either in error or when I put my keys on thier hook). After that happens it can't see the fob again until I uninstall and reinstall the software. I have tried several times. Oh, it says the battery is fine and my Bluetooth is on. I received a TrackR in the mail today and it seems to work fine.

On my S5, unmodified, App works sort of, range is poor, false alarms many. But what it does do is to totally kill the wifi. Finally worked it out when the wifi worked again after turning bluetooth off, uninstall this bad app then all works again as new.

As gps dosent work inside and I dont like to give my position to google I can not use quiet zones. If the app could just sense that I am on my home wifi it would work. Continous false alarms.

Won't pair with my HTC Desire 816. Bluetooth is on and working fine as phone pairs with other devices. Money wasted on this device. Will be ordering TrackR.

Once I make some quiet zones, if I ever completely terminate the program the quiet zones dissappear. They persist through a reboot but if I clear all running programs with the task manager they are gone.

I planned on using proximo to unlock my phone when it is near. But Kensington didn't provide a pin to regularly connect the key fob to my phones BT. So I cannot use alternative apps to achieve my goal. Otherwise the app works as described although it took multiple tries to get this thing connected. But ultimately I search for a method to unlock. I have my phone in my pocket and don't need proximo help me not to forget it somewhere.

H70%
by H####:

its actually a good app! but the only and major downside so far is that every time Android (or me) is closing the app the keydevice will start to alarm. This part should running as a SERVICE. Then it might not create as many false alarms. Or just give the phone a chance to restatt the app before activating the alarm

M70%
by M####:

Please don't invest in the product. It doesn't do what the company says it does. It does not track anything. And furthermore, the app shuts down after a little while making it unreliable.

M70%
by M####:

For some it works, for others like me it simply doesn't. On a S3 running Android 4.3 it NEVER detected the tag. Total waste of money

C70%
by C####:

As stated in a previous review android shuts downs the app hence rendering it useless as a set and forget key finder. As far as I can see the only way it can work is if you constantly open it every 15 mins so it can get a GPS lock. Not impressed! For example, yesterday I took my car to the garage and left the keys before going to town expecting the alarm to sound. It failed the test. Opened the app and apparently the keys were last seen the day before (2 days ago) at home. Needs an update asap! Galaxy s3
