DJI Ultimate Flight - v2

Ok i have a Samsung s6 edge, first I couldn't get the real time view to work now the way point map won't boot up, it just shows a blue disc and nothing else happens. Beginning not to trust this or dji's own app as they both don't work properly.

At first app worked. Then, after DJI stopped supporting anything below P3, so did Ken. App fails to deliver live video, same as DJI app. Email for support to the app's, paid Creator (Ken, aka, DJI lacky) has gone unanswered. Supposition: Ken is onboard with DJI to ensure all Phantoms pre-P3 cannot receive live video through a simple app. In essence making P2s obsolete. Only other option is to invest in a 3rd party controller & monitor - low end being $500.00. YOU GO, KEN! Just curious, how much did DJI pay you to compromise yourself? Was it really worth it?

I paid for this expecting it to work when the dji app worked for my phantom 2 vision, but even after I got it working on that app, I still couldn't get this one to work no matter how many different things I did. I even talked to a person that knows the inventor of this app and said that he was cool and give me a refund which if he does, I will be more than happy to change my feedback, but as of now, I am not happy and I lost money going to have something better than the free app dji makes.

I have a Samsung note 5 and this app crashes daily to be a paid for app I also have no live feed just a black screen

This app is another one of my favorite apps for DJI Phantom 2 plus it has a lot of different features and a lot of information for your Phantom

Use app in flight then app will close everytime.

This is great app and I think it's well worth the money. It has tremendous potential and I hope there is more development planned. Today I flew my DJI phantom 2 vision using my Note 4 with android 5.0.1 and I kept loosing video connection and the app crashed while I was in the air. I got it back and rebooted all including my Note 4 and it I'd it again...any thoughts? I also noticed that I don't get any info for the repeater ( just ??? marks) any help would be greatly appreciated

1.78 menu is crashing app for me as well.

I can move the camera up and down . but i cannot connect to wi-fi and the satellite or do calibration . I order a new compass and same problem. what did i do wrong?

This used to be my favorite phantom 2 Ap. I used it several times a week. Now it crashes every time I select the map icon. Is it not compatible with android updates? Help!

I need a step by step or a manual on connecting my app to camera. Do you bind the camera as you do on the dji vision app. Any help at all I thank you

Can't get the real time camera area to work anymore. Keeps crashing. Have to swap back to DJI's app.

App sometimes doesn't load properly, sent my phantom 2 on a way point mission today and it only filmed a little of it, I have 7 minutes of still footage???? Someone please advise

I just recently tried the waypoints feature. It worked, but I have a question on when the Phantom goes from waypoint to another. Why does the phantom seen like it doesn't know which was to go next? It pivots one way, and then another, before going to the next location. What exactly is the bearing setting used for? Could I have the wrong value for that setting? I'm using version 2.41 with the Phantom 2 Vision Plus V3.

Prior to the last update this app worked great. Since the update I am unable to use it as a license message appears telling me I don't have the proper connection to use it despite all connections working. I finally got it to open after several attempts and it would not connect to my ground station. It worked fine before the update.

I used the app on my Note 5 couple days ago. I noticed that the record button have a glitch or the on/off switch is not working properly. My setting is on when motor starts. I press the camera button to turned it off but I didn't.

It is nice, a better interface than the stock app, but it has a fair share of programming bugs and the fact that I can't look at the pics and vids I take with my Phantom makes it irritating. Why is there a shortcut to the compass calibration? Replace that with photo album because that's just insulting.

i like it alot , take a bit to get used to it but i like the way points and how you control the cam while flying ...but when will tke follow me be added ?

If u can make the camera zoom in and out would be awesome

Doesnt work for me with my phantom 3Pro. Looks like I wasted my money on this app.

I like this app a lot. I particularly like the ability to have the various parameters spoken so you can concentrate on the flying. My only 2 gripes.. The wifi extender battery level doesn't display I just get a line of question marks and whenever I start the app it asks if I want to download a more natural speech eh jock is impossible as there is no internet connection when connected to the phantom and there is no option to download when not connected to the phantom!

Great app still new to all this but like the way it works and I'm sure it will only get better as time goes on.

The voice alerts/warnings alone makes this app worth it! If FPV video did'nt crash/freeeze/garbles (happens at least once or twice every flight), I would give this app 5 stars!

I cannot get this to work with my Phantom 3 Pro on either a Samsung note3 or a Samsung tab pro 8.4

Great app, works like a charm

Getting better with each update! Was wondering if you could put a 'cable line' addition into the app. So if I want to video a person doing tricks on a motorcycle on a straight track, the quadcopter would essentially be on an invisible cable line. So if I hit 'cable', I could set an A and B so the quad would follow as if it was on a cable line.

I love UF because it talks to me, thus my eyes can stay on the Phantom or watch the view screen. Important decisions can be made just by listening.

Nice, but using this got the camera and gimbal to work in fpv mode despite settings being on video mode. Didn't notice that until I had landed. Frustrating. Resolved after a power cycle but that video is worthless. Be advised.

Nice features. Everything thats needed but crashes a lot on my droid razr maxx and cant get the follow me to work at all. Will try latest version. Love the voice readout and the logging. Fly home on low battery only worked once. Used about 8 times or 70 minutes of flight time

I used this app for a while, I like everything about it, but developer should fix some issues like camera settings, every time I started video capture, it will not stop when press stop. Same situation for timed-capture photos

Great work on this but after the last update the App Crashes when trying to open the settings... I uninstalled and reinstalled but made no difference. Please fix.... Update... And now all is well after the 1.8 update.. Nice one...

Like the voice reporting - a great safety feature. Similar to APM DROID Planner. Also editable way point files - essential if you want to fly to a grid or w.h.y. Can't see anywhere to initiate shutter at waypoints though. If it can't do this then why fly the mission? Intervalometer function like gopro would be a decent alternative.
