The ETP Chemical Industry "Kemt" has been established in 2008, according to the ministerial decision (No. 596 of 2008) of the Minister of Trade and Industry.
Kemt is one of the innovative Public-Private Partnerships of The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) System Reform Program which is a joint intervention by the European Commission and the Egyptian Government. The aim of the ETP is to develop and implement training programs that serve Chemical companies to address urgent training needs to produce labors, qualified trainers and instructors to bridge the gap between the demand and supply of skilled labor in the chemical sector in collaboration with the Chamber of Chemical Industries..
Kemt works as an independent legal entity on a system of technical education and vocational training according to the needs of industry

VISION:
The ETP is the implementing body to renovate and upgrade the technical competence of the human resources in general and enhance the trainers qualifications in particular through improving the quality and effectiveness of the training activities offered to the Chemical industries sector.
OBJECTIVES :
The main objective of Kemt is to develop and implement training programs that serve companies and factories which operate in the different chemical sectors to address urgent training needs and to produce qualified trainers and instructors who then will further upgrade the qualification and skills of their workforce in order to Improve of the competitiveness of Chemical Industries in the global market as well as to enhance the quality to meet the market demand.
MISSION :
1-Developing training courses which are tailor made and matching the needs of the sector.
2-Maximizing the use and impact of LETPs benefiting from their relations with the industry in their regions.
3-Intensifying the partnership with strategic national and international stakeholders using their sophisticated equipments and their know-how which is beneficial for the industry.
4-Converting the data collected about the sector into activities using the know-how gained from our partnership with international bodies.
