About Oktoberfest KE
Big Five Breweries in conjunction with Brew Bistro and Lounge are bringing a piece of Munich to Kenya on September 20 through to 22nd 2013 at the Impala Club.
Be part of a movement to educate 30 under privileged kids from the core slums of Kenya through a 3-day beer, music and food festival.
Oktoberfest is the world's largest fair and one of the best festivals in Germany. Every year, over 6 million visitors from all over the world come to Munich to drink beer, eat sausage and join together in song.
Big Five Breweries is brining that experience to Kenya.
Oktoberfest 2013 will be bigger and better then last years, featuring 9 brewers on tap, including the Hefewizen, Krystal wizen, Oktoberfest and Marzen brews, brewed by Big Five Breweries.
Oktoberfest is famous for its huge beers in 1 liter mugs, but there is more to it then just beer, Oktoberfest showcases local musical talent, an international food court and various stalls vending and marketing their local brands and services in a fun and creative environment, complete with hay, communal tables and church benches.
So link arms with the locals, swing to the tune of the Kenya bands, admire traditional costumes, and get a good helping of Kenya hospitality.
