KEF LS50 Wireless for Android
Initial setup confusing with respect to wireless network. Included setup guide very basic. Gapless playback for media servers not supported? How to select wired network connection? Is the wired network connection functional? Wireless connection has hickups at the beginning of each number for dlna playback. What is the intention of the balance button on the slave speaker? No internet radio or streaming services included. No possibility to disable the auto-sleep function. Sound is great!
Works well when connected by wifi. No major complaints. I suggest that it could be enhanced by being able to access the speakers when they are not set to wifi input, being able to adjust volume on the speakers.
1. No DSD (convert to PCM) playback support.>solution: use Neutron 2. No good streaming music support (Tidal or Qobuz) >solution: use BubbleUpnp. 3. Please add the above two features so that "KEF LS50 Wireless" is a real complete wireless system.Thank you. 4. Cannot configure speaker under non-wifi mode and all changes to default when open setting again
Excellent! The app is great, easy setup. Can play without a problem. The interface looks super. Looking forward to more added features!
Initial setup and look good, playing over DLNA is fine and the expert controls very handy - but then it goes to pieces. If switched to optical/USB input you can no longer access any of the setup options, you have to stop what you're doing and go back to DLNA mode or the app just throws a connection lost error. No way to stop the very low-fi Windows wakeup/sleep sound samples, no way to adjust the auto-sleep function and no way to get any file info when playing files via DLNA (e.g. bitrate) - so it's worked but only just sufficient. Luckily the speakers sound fantastic
The best thing about this app is the beautiful user interface and it's responsiveness
Good step by step setup guide. Fluid UI. Lots of EQ option to play with. Great product.
Easy to navigate and simple to use

The app shuts down on its own on a regular basis. I rather stick with PC in or bluetooth in...yes i paid so much for this speakers for bluetooth connectivity! What a disgrace
