A WOMEN SAFETY AND EMERGENCY HELP CALL APPLICATION


Divine Help Application (dh app) is an app designed for all ages especially senior members, DH App is a simple but very important application and will run in the background after a quick initial set up. It remains actively running in the background on start of the mobile device.


dh app ideally keeps track of physical activities, and on eventual incident sends SMS and initiates phone calls to the set contacts for immediate help. The dh app uses internal accelerometer, magnetometer gyroscope and GPS device of the smart phone.


dh app helps senior members of the family to easily initiate calls to its contacts as set in the dh app by just shaking the device, without learning to operate the smart phone devices. dh app prior to initiating calls after detecting any eventual incident or a fall/impact detection initially provides a 10 seconds countdown window for user to “Enter or Exit”” the call, and if no action is taken the dh app shall automatically initiate phone calls to the contacts sequentially, while the 10 seconds countdown feature is provided to avoid any false alarms that may be initiated. In case of vigorous shaking too the dh app will once again provide 10 seconds “Enter or Exit” count down window for user to act upon, or shall initiate call to the contacts sequentially if no action taken.




The dh app is required to be calibrated for shake detection by the user prior to the use of the application, the user may also manually set the sensitivity level settings as desired; however KDC advises that the user performs the physical shakes naturally, as this would help the dh app not to generate false calls to its contracts, while for fall/impact detection the dh app sets its sensitivity level to auto detection upon registration of the age, however the user can still further change the sensitivity level for fall/impact detection manually in case one finds that the dh app initiates calls to its contacts with slightest impacts or drop of the mobile device.


KDC also advises the users to inform and obtain permission from your contacts prior to adding them as your emergency contacts.


The dh app allows users to add a maximum of 5 contacts but minimum of two contacts are compulsory, as well SMS sending is limited to 2 minimum and maximum of 5.
