RideWise is an application targeted at frequent travelers within the state of Massachusetts. In this version of the app, users are able to select from certain built-in routes along the I-93, I-90, or Rt. 3 corridors, and are able to view current travel times, color-coded according to speeds, along those routes. Users can also go into a detailed map view of each route which displays travel time, speeds, and the route requested. Future versions of the app will add more interactive features along with additional routes.

I've tried using this app for Sagamore bridge traffic due to painting. It does not indicate any delays going over the bridge, even when traffic is backed up past exit 2/route 130. I would use it if that were remedied.

Has promise, but the routes are not complete and some are just wrong. Example: there's no Somerville exit on I-95. Big chunks of 128 (95) are missing as well.

This application and the roadside signs are often in disagreement with one another and often do not reflect the true volume of the traffic. To the developers: no data is better than bad data. Currently, if the system doesn't know what the prevailing speed is, it reflects some best-case default that may or may not be correct. It would be better if the system simply gave a blank indication or ?? if it was not able to figure out the time to a destination.
