App never stopped irritating me

Lived all over U.S. & think KCRW is the best radio in the nation!! Keep it up KCRW...Love you guys!

Never with Samsung S6. Downloaded twice. First time no playlist or audio. 2nd time has playlist still no audio. Just spinning circle.

Hi your app used to be amazing with up to date with on air playlists! Man anthony valadez is playing some sick tunes now and your playlist is just blank... i gotta find out these jam titles that soundhound and sheezam will never able to tell... please fix this playlist upload function... pleeeeeease (using android samsung galaxy s6)like how it was amazing back till a year ago....

If you're reading this, person unfamiliar with kcrw, it's one of the last places left playing new music for people with good taste in aural aesthetics. I hope you get your notification player fixed, and a widget would be great, but who's complaining? Not me. Because now finally I can listen to kcrw music without some other app. Merci boup coup, radio heads.

I have your app on several of my devices and when I open up the stream and hit the cast button to try to send it to my Chromecast nothing happens on any of my devices. One of mine is running android nougat and the other is running lollipop. Are you under the impression that you support Chromecast or is it just not functional yet? Love your station. I am also a KCRW member! :-)

Samsung s6..uber driver kcrw is my music station of choice. It would be nice to be able to see whats currently streaming. Riders ask me and i cannot tell them . When the app fails me , i cannot promote potiential kcrw supporters. Please help to me promote your station

You've read all the shortcomings. Interface is clunky, playlist is slow to update, and the app won't close properly. One wonders why the station tolerates such a poor face this app shows to the world.

I first started using this app back in 212. Since then, only the appearance has changed. The app is terrible. There is a bug that does not let the app close unless you forcefully make it do so and this has been present for four years now. The notifications for the app are white on a white background. Completely unreadable. When the app won't close you just have this ugly white square that wont go away. KCRW, please, hold a pledge drive just to make this a better app.

The kcrw app has bugs that have never been fixed. It constantly "stops working" is the warning sign that comes up. And if 7 can ever get it to work listening to TALK, it will only play one and then stops working. Come on guys. It must be that you never get these messages or ignore them because regardless of your updates, the bug remains..

The folks providing the rich content don't deserve such poor delivery of that content. A very frustrating listening experience. Have installed and reinstalled three times. Same problems.

It's best to dispose of this app as soon you are finished with it. It's a great radio station, but they obviously lack skilled web developers. App crashes and the skip to live function doesn't work. I prefer other apps when consuming NPR and KCRW content.

I have had two separate fons have the same symptoms, it times out, no sound, can't proper close, repeats segments, and the audio is very '' ''digitally''. Will just try to listen live or on my laptop. Fon app sux!! Disappointing.

Great content is unfortunately unreliably-accessible on such a poorly made app. Doesn't stay connected even with reliable wifi internet and begins looping over an old, cached segment.

Great content, frustrating app. Quits streaming frequently for no reason, hitting the pause then play button brings back the stream, but having to do this several times an hour is frustrating. Looks like this app is a low priority for KCRW since it has not been updated since 2015. Shame since it makes an otherwise great station look bad.

I been listing to KCRW 2002. I stared using the app back in 2011 and still use it now this app has always suckk will take forever to play live or DJ PLAY LIST also you can't use crome cast with it some times it will stop playing. out of nowhere, can't stop and play or restart sometimes it just a really slow bad app idk how you keep running this app all these years and not notics to fix the simple stuff

It lags with updating playlist sometimes or it wont load. Crashes sometimes with no reason. But i love the music so I use it

LOVE KCRW, but streaming on demand is rough. App keeps crashing and it makes me sad.

Awesome app. Great for plain ol' listening to live streams. Haven't come up with bumps. Great app if you're away from your car or don't have a radio.

On-demand doesn't work, live streaming sometimes works. Come on, KCRW. You're my home away from home.

Fix the damn overloaded audio sound.. Whatever audio compression codec is being used is horrid. I guess someone wanted to capture the feeling of live radio sound, but 40% is so distorted and buzzy, you cant tell what word they're saying. Fix this before it ruins your listenership.

Love the station. The app fails to live up though.

Great content but app is in the dark ages. Needs Chromecast, offline, tablet, cross device sync badly!

The content is 5 stars but the app is just ok. Did improved over last version for sure. Wish they had Chromecast option. It's still a must app for me.

Best NPR App. Replay all recent DJ with tracklist and download links, livestream 3 on-demand channels including news or music. Integrated sleep timer and access to local discount / benefit providers for subscribers.

So many streams just don't load. If kcrw app worked well I would donate more. But it never has! Always buggy. Put some resources into this as we want on demand kcrw!

Every few minutes or so, the app reminds 30 seconds forcing me to to relisten to my favorite show, "Good Food." Fix it please

Continued to run in the background (even though no music was playing) and chowed my entire allotment of mobile data. Who designs an app like this ? WTH. *Uninstalled*

Trying it for only one day , you will enjoy the way kcrw play music. Just try it 89.9. Down at Baja N.

v3.0.3 is working and stable with all the streams/channels, on demand shows, now playing info loads, favorites save and display as well.
