El estudio se realizó con microesferas de entre 0,04 y 1,40 milímetros.
Entre el 93,2 % (mano derecha) y el 100 % (mano izquierda) de los casos aumentó 3,3 veces la sensibilidad del tacto.
Entre el 53,3 % (mano derecha) y el 67% (mano izquierda) de los casos aumentó 6,6 veces la sensibilidad del tacto.
Entre el 20 % (mano derecha) y el 14% (mano izquierda) de los casos aumentó 8,3 veces la sensibilidad del tacto.
Otra conclusión que se obtuvo del resultado fue que cuanto más pequeño es el tamaño de la partícula, más capacidad tiene el guante Sensifemme de magnificar la sensibilidad tactil, lo que lo hace muy apropiado para la detección precoz de pequeños bultos en las mamas.
Factores de riesgo:
Sexo: Se da principalmente en la mujer. También puede afectar a hombres aunque la probabilidad es mínima.
Edad: El 60% de los cánceres de mama ocurren en mujeres de más de 60 años y el 40% restante, en las más jóvenes.
Genes: Existen 2 genes, BRCA1 y BRCA2, que al mutarse pueden provocar la aparición del cáncer de mama.
Antecedentes familiares: Cuando un pariente de primer grado (madre, hermana o hija) ha padecido cáncer de mama, se duplica el riesgo de padecerlo. Si es un pariente más lejano (abuela, tía o prima), el riesgo aumenta sólo ligeramente.
Períodos menstruales: Cuando antes comienza la menstruación (antes de los 12 años), mayor es el riesgo de sufrir un cáncer de mama, al compararlo con aquellas que comenzaron más tarde. Las mujeres con una menopausia tardía (después de los 55 años) tienen mayor riesgo.
Estilo de vida: El abuso de alcohol, el tabaquismo, la obesidad, etc. aumenta el riesgo de padecer un cáncer de mama.

Ventajas de Sensifemme:
