About Kattack Mobile
Kattack Mobile allows you to use your Android phone in place of a Kattack LIVE Tracking device. You can join a race feed and have your track recorded in real time. In order for the App to record, you must first join a LIVE race which typically is set up by the event organizer. Kattack Mobile works even if there is no cell coverage. It saves the track points and uploads them when back in cell range. For more info go to kattack.com. Kattack Mobile requires version 2.1 of Android and a GPS

Version 2.0 improves GPS accuracy and provides more robust feedback on GPS and network issues. It also has support for variable GPS and upload intervals so the app will work better for distance racing. These intervals must be set in the publishers web admin page.

Installed the app, filled in all the info and it seemed to run OK. Got back to the club after the race only to learn we were not being tracked. Other droid users at the club had same results. Definitely a problem.

Since the reviews were negative, I bought the app with some apprehension. In fact the first time I used the app it did not work so I was not happy. But I wrote to the attack team, and they were very eager to help. They found out the issue and now it's working! Just make sure you don't use apostrophe in the boat name.
