GoBigHub is a for profit social enterprise program with a 10 year target of being in 1,000 African cities and contributing to at least 1% of the GDP of Africa through connecting local entrepreneurs to local investors.

At GoBigHub, we believe that the two greatest challenges facing Africa, that is, poverty and unemployment, are best solved through enterprises. However, we find that most enterprises across the continent sustainability, profitability, and scalability. The main challenges of enterprises are two: 1, lack of affordable financing; and 2, lack of strategic advise to entrepreneurs. GoBigHub.com contributes towards this by connecting micro enterprises to micro investors (Get Funded Program), and provision of strategic business advise, through mentorship and coaching, to entrepreneurs (Inua Kijana Program). Four months to the end of 2015, we connected businesses with micro private equity investments worth UGX. 74. 5million. This month January 2016, alone, Ugandans, both at home and abroad, have invested over UGX. 27.5 million in 7 local businesses. We have investments as little as UGX. 25,000."
