Bite Squad for Android
App is great. I'm glad to be living in this time era. I use this to buy my long distance girlfriend food when she gets off of work and doesn't have anything to eat at home. I was leaning towards 4 stars because the delivery time ETA was way off and it doesn't update the location of the driver. But so far delivery time has been spot on or earlier than shown. +1.
So bad. Crazy additional fees, I got a free entree up to 15$ coupon so I went to get Chinese food ordered a $9.75 sesame chicken and I go to checkout and my order is over $13 after my free entree(and then don't forget about the driver tip). They charged almost $8 for a small order fee alone. Ordered the same food from the same restaurant from Doordash instead without a free entree coupon....and it was cheaper than just bite squads fees.
I placed an order, and it was delivered over a half hour late. When I contacted customer service, I asked them to cancel the order since I didn't want food that had been sitting around. They told me no, and I said I would dispute the charge. They said I was threatening them with fraudulent action and disconnected. Terrible customer service. Won't ever use them again.
I love bitesquad. Of course you have to pay for delivery, almost all services require that, but they are quick, convenient, and the app is so easy to use. We are guilty of using it way too frequently because I can just schedule a delivery for after work and dinner meets me at home. I love it!
Absolutely terrible. The customer service is a complete joke. Our food was obviously incorrect... They even agreed it was incorrect, but they were only willing to replace the wrong items after after an additional hour of waiting. Totaling an hour and fifty minute wait time for correctly ordered and already paid for food. Don't give them your money.
Bite Squad is great and can't be blamed for incorrect orders, that's the restaurants fault....not theirs. Out of all the times I've used Bite Squad, my order was incorrect only once and the correct food was delivered soon after- free of charge. They paid for the incorrect order themselves even though it wasn't their fault. Ofcourse the new order couldn't be delivered instantly, I did have to wait but you would think that would be obvious. Long story short, if you can't deal with the fact that mistakes happen, then go pick up your own damn food from a perfect restaurant that never makes mistakes. Bite Squad is amazing and I'd recommend to anyone!
The app is great! My overall experience has also been positive. ONE time it was rough where it took a long time and I was missing food, but Bite Squad made up for it and since then? Stellar service. Will be a continuous user for a long time!
Don't trust the originally quoted eta, it used to be accurate but now it seems they can't keep enough drivers staffed at the right capacity so deliveries now are 20-30 minutes after the pre order quote. But, the app is easy to use, and I like the order tracker.
I use this app and service at least a couple of times a week. The only time I've had a problem, was a late delivery to my office. Not only did they comp the two meals, including tip, they also gave me a $10 credit. Excellent customer service!
Worst. Service. EVER. This is the second time my order was ridiculously messed up. I live 2 blocks from the place and it took them 1hr to bring me ice cold pizza and warm salad...
So I've used Bitesquad quite a bit and have never had an issue. Tonight they called because the restaurant didn't have an item I wanted and so bitesquad helped change the order. THEN the restaurant didn't send all the food, so I called Bitesquad, they called the resturant and had them resend the item. The driver got lost and I got an email right away that the driver wanted to contact me. So I called him to help him get to my address. A lot of things went crazy tonight but Bitsquad was amazing with getting everything handled! I love that I can see when the drivers are getting close, that way I can be outside waiting for them. I would say, I wish I'd get push notifications or text (sometimes I get them but not always) when they are in the neighborhood, that way I can be waiting outside and my dog doesn't get disturbed by the knock on the door.
TOOK FOREVER!!! they say 39 mins or so. That should not mean 1:20 mins later delivery driver is showing up with a Chef Salad. Will not use app again. Only reason it gets 2 stars is because Salad was good.
Please dont waste your time and money here. The coupons really dont work and their service sucks... Service tax and delivery charges are too much which sums up to the price of the dish you order. Worthless to buy here. Customer care are worthless and they just waste your time and never do anything.
The only problem I had was customer service. I had a problem with the app and took the person on chat about 10 minutes to figure out what to do to fix it. Yes the delivery fee for some restaurants is expensive but none are outrageous. Just like when it was Doorstep Delivery the ETA wasn't always met but I deliver for a pizza restaurant so I know that the quoted time isn't always possible. All in all, I like Bite Squad. Love would be an overstatement so 4 stars instead of 5.
Decided to download the app to leave a review. I was running late for work one morning and wasn't able to pick up breakfast for me or the staff. At 8:30 AM, I decided to order some food and just have it delivered. I went on the website and noticed all of these great restaurants that had amazing breakfast menus, but why was the available time showing 10:30 AM and the earliest pick up time being 11:30AM!? If I can't order breakfast, why are we able to see the breakfast menus? It was like you were dangling my hopes in my face just to tease and disappoint me. Not cool, Bite Squad. Not cool.
I just ordered $30.00 worth of Ben and Jerry's. It took over an hour for them to deliver 3 cups of ice cream from 10 minutes away. When the food FINALLY got here most of it was missing. 3 cups of ice cream were delivered without any of the toppings. Bananas, strawberries, hot fudge and whipped cream. Not to mention all of the added fees. 3 culls of ice cream same out to $30.00 after all the fees. And they took a tip off of my card automatically. I would never have tipped this driver for the poorest customer service/ delivery service I have ever experienced. And will never use this app again and I highly recommend that no one ever use this app!!!
I NEVER use Apps, but my wife and friends use it. So I tried it, gave me a $15 off my first order. Cool! However after spending 15 minutes signing in ordering all the way to the point I put my credit card number and 3 digit code. Then it just closes? And takes me back to the login page?? So after wasting my time to where I could have just called in my order and picked up my damn self. Now I have to worry about why after I put my card number in it just shut down? Did you just steal my card?? Not attempting to use this app again. Faster to drive and get it!!!
I like the app, it's easy to use and you can see how your order is progressing. I also like when the driver is out on delivery you know exactly where he is. Bitesquad does a great job my food comes to me hot every time. Keep up the great work guys!
The idea is pretty good. But trust would be ???? i had 3 short curly hairs in my salad. I won't be doing this mistake the f again!
Tried this for the first time last nite. I'm in SW Florida and menus are fluctuating right now. Bite Squad called twice to get other choices from us because the restaurant was out of the first choice we made and they were very kind and professional each time. The driver, Jessica, was very cheerful even though she'd had to wait until they found something available. Bite Squad has a new fan! I'll be using them often and have already started spreading the word!
Very convenient and well structured. I do hope that PayPal, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay will be added as payment options, as entering my full CC details is rather insecure.
I had high hopes for this service. The convenience of being able to order lunch from a good variety of restaurants drew me in to try it. First experience was not the greatest. Trying to time your breaks at work around delivery? Don't hold your breath. Estimated time is inaccurate and frequently jumps around. Expect your food to arrive 20-30 minutes later than originally quoted. Rather than enjoying lunch, you'll have to settle for scarfing down your food. On a positive note: their drivers are friendly.
I never really review apps but the experience on this was so bad I felt compelled to. The app allowed me to sign up with an account without validating a misspelling on the email. Then at checkout it fails and says email is not valid and there is no way to edit it. Get a native app bitesquad this JavaScript thing is weak
It was great the one and only time it actually functioned. I've never been able to get the stubborn thing to run again. Shame, since that one time was a perfect delivery. Uninstalling.
I was so excited about this app but when I noticed how much they jack the prices up I was appalled. The menu prices are very different that the actual restaurants prices.
This is the worst food delivery service I've ever dealt with. It took 20 minutes longer to get the food than the original estimate. Once it arrived it wasn't even hot. The place we ordered it from is only 20 minutes from our house we easily could have driven there ourselves got in a hot fresh food and driven back unless the amount of time that the food took to get to us seems pretty ridiculous. Also the drink that I ordered did not come as described when I attempted to contact customer service through the app the app itself does not have a good user flow to show that you contacted customer service. Would not recommend to anyone will just stick with ubereats.
Horrible! Over 2 hours for an order and the time just keeps increasing AND this isn't the first time this has happened. Just horrible, don't waste your time!!
I so wanted this service to work! I've used 3 times and 2 of those 3 have resulted in chaos. 1st from Tom n chee, which got the order wrong (not bitesquad fault, but responsibility), and 2nd was taps and flats. Order placed and charge posted at 552pm w estimated delivery time 710pm. Now 725pm, recheck app and estimated delivery time now 741 pm. Call to restaurant says "bs didn't show up so we had to remake your food". Wife going out to get other food bc kids can't eat at 8pm. Sorry to blast in review, but last bs help message sent to bs was unhelpful. Gonna hope Ubereats has it together better.
Been using bite squad for a while now. I have never had any issues with any orders, the staff has always been quick to respond to any issues, and their driver tracking works great! Will use plenty more often in the future.
I received a coupon a while ago.. I just downloaded the app.. went to use my coupon, it said I already used it.. How I just got the app and created an account today 7/12/17.. Ridiculous ..
Waited over an hour for food that was wrong/cold. Unacceptable for a delivery service that has your order right in front of them.
The app does not work. Ended up having to go online to the full website to get it ordered once that was done everything was fine but the app is a piece of junk
Really, wtf? Currently watching my order jump almost 40 min past the original delivery estimate. It took almost 15 minutes for my order to just get past "sending." I live a 10 minute drive from the restaurant and it's saying it'll take 25 minutes from the time the restaurant will have it ready to get to me. I'm really confused. Should I just go get it myself? Edit: food came late, cold, and incomplete. Called the restaurant and they had another simultaneous order, when the bite squad guy repacked the food, it probably go mixed in with theirs. Customer service was alright. Have used food delivery services before, enjoyed it, and this was just sad in comparison.
It took about 50 minutes but to be honest I don't care. The food was still good and I was able to get what I really wanted to eat instead of settling for regular delivery places. My husband is out of town with the car and it was nice to have a meal out midweek. Will definitely use them again!! App quality is amazing.
Bite squad is terrible! Takes forever with constantly changing delivery estimates to be later and later. Plus they have forgetten part of my order or delivered the wrong food. And the app itself has weird glitch issues.
Never used this app. Never even knew in existed. Started getting notifications to download it. Downloaded it just so I could leave this one star review. Something I don't know exsist should NOT be notifying me of anything!
I'm quite surprised to read about the disappointed customers for I really got a kick out of bite squad and look forward to the next time,when I just don't want to cook or make the trip to a restaurant! As far as I'm concerned you guys rock!
My experience was horrible, I never got the meal I ordered. I didn't have time to go get lunch elsewhere. Customer service was an absolute joke. This company needs to get its act together or it will sink. This was an absurdly and inexcusably bad experience.
Worked well for me the first time but not it won't allow me to place orders. It keeps telling me "This form should not contain any extra fields." I think it's best to get the coding for Bitesquad fixed as I cannot rely on it for a party today.

This has been an absolutely horrible experience and I will not be using this service again. Over an hour for a restaurant 5 minutes away. Customer chat disconnected me when I mention cold food and sure enough it is. That's not even all of the nightmare. Would zero star if I could but will say driver was very friendly and apologetic.
