UK Weather Maps

Excellent

12 AM and 12 PM are meaningless. 12 is EXACTLY noon or midnight, so how can it possibly be AM or PM? 1159 AM or PM makes sense and 1201 PM or AM makes sense. So what is 12AM - is it noon or midnight? Please use the 24 hour clock. I cannot use this app because I don't know what time you're talking about.

Easy to use and understand

Edit...I like this app and I think it will be great in time to come. I've been using it for over a month now and it has helped me do my own instant forecast which has helped with day to day tasks like travel, drying laundry and gardening. It deserves a better rating than it has currently got. I've upgraded it to 5 stars which it truly deserves. Keep up the good work! After quite a few months of use I still think this is one of the best, it is the main weather app for me!

This was great until today, now it won't start, now it just says failed to connect to server. Tried uninstall n re install still the same

Initially this app looks nice, however within seconds it becomes frustrating. There is no nay to permanently stop the map animations, you can pause them for the session, but when you exit the app and come back, the animations default back t playing. Full screen adverts are unforgivable, especially when closing them they don't take you back to the screen you were viewing in the app, but the screen before the one you were last looking at. The adverts appear almost after every click within the app, their frequency is ridiculous. An accidental click on the map changes the forecast location (and by accidental I really do mean just a quick tap, so an accidental knock is sufficient), forcing you to re-find the location you want. The map zoom level always returns to the default level between closing an re-opening the app. The zoomed in rain imagery is blurred, or rather is of low resolution, this is not like any other weather app I have used that uses MetOffice map data.

Great app, layout easy on the eye, nice and simple, maybe a little more detail for the daily forcast, graphs charts ect... This is by far a better app than met office. One question ❓ what's the source for your weather, met office ect..? Hope it's home grown, I hate forca, yr,wunderground

Been doing a weather course so good to get an app that shows synoptic charts. My preference would be that the animations don't start automatically but that's no big deal. Really like the weather summaries - nice to have text as well as numbers. Really good job.

Excellent displays supplementing the official Met Office app, which lacks these important presentations. A minor suggestion for improvement of the cloud cover map: if the land colour were darker, it could much improve contrast and make it easier to see where the gaps in cloud are. It may be that my red-green colour-blindness contributes to the problem, but 8% of males have this.

Took 24 hours for it to load, but all OK now.

I gave it one star for the 1st 48 hours it worked. Now it just sits there telling me, "it's loading maps" but it isn't. I think this app will be deleted from my tablet very soon. Don't bother with it!

I'm using this a lot to plan laundry, days out etc. Seems quite accurate too

Maybe on day there wil be an international version! Great for outdoor professionals!

Gives a good overview of possible rainfall.

Installed it, opened it and after 5 seconds a full page ad, forget it, if you can't allow me to see what it is all about first then I'm not interested, uninstalled

Deserves better than 3.2* average. Have few complaints and like the time progression

The weather information is presented very nicely. I find the frequent full-screen ads too intrusive to use the app, though, and suggest using smaller banner ads instead. I won't upgrade to the premium version until I've liked the free version...

Excellent app for forecasts. Temperature map a little difficult to interpret. Land should be green to make cloud more obvious.

Very quick weather up dating. Easy to get to. Very good app. This app functions and serves me well Good luck.

It looks great and is much better than the new Met Office app. My only gripe is a play button instead of having the ability to tap on the times you want and then being able to zoom into an area, as was possible with the Met Office app being discontinued.

Pretty good for early attempt. Bit more polish and it will be alright !
