You might want to do mnemonics when practicing kiragana. Start off with a,i,u,e,o and so on. Great for people who have mastered.

I've only been using this app for two days and I'm mastering hiragana in ways I never thought possible. This is a wonderful app. Use it for a few minutes a day and you'll learn hiragana and katakana in very little time! Highly recommended!

Good, quick, simple. But resets when my epic changes from portrait to landscape. Seems to pick a random kana each time, leading to many repetitions.

great that it has 6 choices but please fix the WO kana, i have only seen the "part of the sentence" one, need the regular too

For the most part, it's helpful. Something I don't like is you have to complete hara before getting to kana

Was at 99% hiragana when i accidentally changed to landcape, which in turn caused the quiz to reset. Needs way to change to katakana without having to go through hiragana first.

More challenging then it looks. Goes over what you thought you knew to fond out it was a good guess last time. I'm working hard to get that 100%

Cool little app just wish it had the stroke order and the full kanji, but then again you would have to be japanese to properly understand it

Good app, I started not knowing any kana but I do this once a day to 30% and I get better each match.

This app does what it says, but in a very basic fashion. It is not a five star application. Resets to 0% hiragana when app is closed. Too repetitious.

The app was excellent simple and friendly, really helps keep my memory fresh. but if u can make the choices on test mode bigger that'd be great, sometimes I miss when speed-answering

Use this app 15 mins daily and you will quickly memorize the characters. The only problem I had on my Galaxy S4 was suddenly one day it would crash on launch. I fixed this simply by going into app data for Kana Tutorial and clearing the cache+data. It worked fine again after that. If you want to study Diacritics and Digraphs, consider the full version. It only costs just over a dollar.

The best app to burn the Kana into your mind and make sure they stay there. Best used in conjunction with apps of an explaining nature to learn things such as pronunciation and the diacritical marks and combinations, which this app doesn't touch upon.

Helps you with memorizing the kana and can help refresh ones memory down the line.

I couldn't stop flipping those cards untill I got 100% in hiragana. I have a bad habit of forgetting hiragana characters. I just installed it and I can't get enough of it. Very amazing.

great application for learning hiragana and katagana. the idea with seeing the answer right after each question helps a lot. its not like the usual boring tests. good luck!

One of the best ways to learn, but it's missing about 40% the phonetic sounds, but those 40% are pretty self-explainable, and don't happen as much in the real world. To make it better, they should put in unlockable test levels for the rest of the sounds.

This app. helps alot to memorize /recall both hiragana and katakana. But one must write down to learn them properly..

Show a letter.... tap next when you are ready and you can see if you guessed right. I love learning this way you can go as slow or as fast as you like. X
