Zion (Felix Ortiz)' & Lennox (Gabriel Pizarro) nacieron en Carolina, Puerto Rico, eran vecinos y tenían intereses comunes por el rap, hip hop y dancehall. Su gusto común por la música rápidamente se convirtió en una seria pasión para trabajar juntos y por completo en el género reguetón. Desde temprana edad, Zion & Lennox se interesaron profundamente en el nuevo género en esa época apenas naciente, teniendo su primera gran oportunidad la compilación Desafío del año 2003. Ambos tienen familiares que también se destacan en el reggaeton, Zion es primo del corista Jory Boy, quien formaba parte del dúo Nova & Jory y Lennox tiene un hermano llamado Luis Pizarro, más conocido como mackie de yaga y mackie los dos ahora son un hit
