Kapture Audio

Kapture says they're aware of the issue. However they still haven't resolved. My Kapture wristband is now a $100 mistake.

I couldn't transfer files from my device to the app. After a factory reset, the device no longer works at all. I spent over $100 on this device. I loved it for the couple of weeks it worked. Now it's the most expensive paperweight I own. I'd be happy to keep it and use it if it worked. Kapture's support is really bad. This is a very disappointing purchase. I'll update this review if they get it fixed. But I wouldn't waste your money on it. You're getting the beta-version of a device with real potential.

Just got my kapture yesterday. When I go into trim mode it plays the klip at super fast speed....like chipmunks on pcp...and won't let me actually trim or save. Works better with my ipad but not trying to bring my ipad everywhere I go. Also it seems that I need to keep unpairing...then re-pairing the kapture with my phone to properly save a clip. At least twice I've two-tapped and got the double vibration but I was not able to save or listen to the clips. Still fairly happy with it...needs to work better.

The first 2 days I had this were awesome. Now the app won't even open. I've re-installed it twice now and yet it still won't work. Not only does it fail to open, but the apps constantly lets me know that its not working with error messages. Please fix these bugs, because I want to use this device again.

Have had this since launch and haven't been able to effectively use it at all. Hard to pair and never records right. Tried for days to get it working and finally gave up. Poorly designed.

The device is conceptually brilliant, though sometimes buggy or difficult to use. Support contact information is difficult to find, but once found, they are quick to respond.

Even with updates to firmware... still won't work.

Waited a long time for the associated hardware (I was a Kickstarter backer). No problem with that but given the time the app really has no excuse for being this bad. It feels like an afterthought. Editing clips has trashed several nice ones already. Rather shameful effort really. Sorry guys.

Nice work on the update guys! The constant buffer recording is fixed and doesn't record every second now. I've found another problem, I leave the app on buffer running in the background and a couple of hours later i come back to save a clip and it only saves 3-5 seconds from when I got back into the app. So basically it stopped buffering sometime from when I left it. Its been happening every day.

Fix the bug where when you trim a clip it renders the file unusable because of a crash and corrupt file. In the apps Android data folder, if more understandable filenames were used that would be great because I archive all my clips (assign description and category to files metadata perhaps?). When a file is deleted in the app, it also isn't deleted in the data folder and the klips I want to archive become difficult to find.

Trimming clips causes the app to crash and corrupts the file. Transferring is inconsistent. Sometimes the new clips are there, other times there are doubles, other times it doesn't work at all. Sometimes it takes forever just to load an audio file to listen too. This app makes the device useless.

Been waiting for a long time for this, can't wait to make use of it!
