Bluetooth Detection

Works perfectly. Using Tasker, once this add-on detects a BT connection, among other things, I'm then able to store the name of the connected device in a variable then use that variable in other tasks - thus allowing different behaviours based on which device I'm connected to.

Would be nice if it showed up in Tasker as the description states it should. Not wasting any more time fiddling and restarting my phone. Too bad as it looks perfect for what I need..

Never turns on when near to my car Bluetooth. Not sure what the issue is a even the general functionality does not work with tasker so purchased this, so that it will work but failed that too.

Freezes my note 3 after a few hours. If you install this app. And phone starts to crash Uninstall.

Tried installing twice...getting a blank screen each time.

Can't even find it in Tasker

This does a much better job of detecting BT events then Automagic's built-in method. Also it's very compatible with Automagic.

They either don't know or don't care how they're screwing other users. They're either ignorant, selfish or both. Nail them to the wall for all of us.

Hi, quick question...will this automatically turn on BT when the paired device is nearby? I'm having trouble doing that, pls provide the tasker setup to do that?

Works great for me. Does exactly what I wanted. Nologer having the pesky intermitant problem where my phone would sometimes connect to my device as phone audio only when I primarily use it for media audio. Well worth the 1.50 euros to fix that issue.

I would love to see Beacon integration fully realized. There is no good solution for Tasker yet.

This plug in for Locale works very well... Much more reliable than others. But what makes this one truly better is the active support of the developer. All too often, an app is released and then essentially abandoned. Not this developer... They remain active in supporting and improving the plug in.

the plugin is not being recognized in Lollipop 5.1, Please fix

Does exactly what is says. Nice interface and doesn't periodically fail like the free alternatives. Worth the small cost.

I have an issue where it didn't detect a device is in range or connected in lollipop. Using tasker plugin. Not sure if it's user error or a problem with the plugin

Exactly what I've been looking for. Can't fault it. I used to have to choose an app on my home screen to trigger my Bluetooth when I'm in the car. With this app, I've been able to set and forget. Each time I get in the car my Bluetooth switches on. Extremely happy with my purchase. Keep up the good work.

I use this plugin with locale to start Doggcatcher when I switch on my Bluetooth headphones. It works perfectly and regular updates are a bonus.

This used to work great on my Nexus 5 but now doesn't activate a scenario in Locale. I'm using ART runtime. Does this work with ART runtime and if not why not? It's all going that way soon :)

Just brought this app within the last 20 mins .when I press the icon to open it, it takes me back to google play store to an app for $9.99 called locale Dev' by TWOFOURTYFOUR A.M. Refund my money now!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Google play, you claim the Dev KANETIK replyed to this post ! Where is it?

I'm giving a 5 not only because this connects my BT devices to my Note ll, and other tablets, but also because there are people going around blasting this, who don't have a clue, how to use it (It Says Add-On for Locale Or Tasker) Not stand alone app(if that's what you want go get it, but don't jam this Dev up because you don't know WTF you're doing!)

I have this on two of my conditions. One for my truck and one for my Bluetooth speaker. Works great on both. Had a small issue with the new update. Dev was quick to respond and powering off the phone and powering back on fixed detection issue.

It's hard to review something like this. It either works or it doesn't. I wish we could just do a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down". This is definitely a "thumbs up". I'll give it 5 stars, to counterbalance the 1-star ratings, which are probably from people who don't understand what this plugin is supposed to do.

Finally a working Bluetooth condition for Locale. It's simple and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Tried this after a friend recommended it and after finding out the developer is very friendly and responsive.

Probably the best dollar I've ever spent! I love it.

I've been wanting to create conditions based on Bluetooth connections in Locale for a long time! Unfortunately, Android does not make this easy, but this plug-in does the job perfectly and the developer is very helpful and responds quickly to feedback. Highly recommended!

This is a great app!

Works exactly as you would expect, but with one added benefit: you can select a specific device that will trigger the event. For example, I can automatically start my music app when my car's device is connected, not just any bluetooth media device.
