HappyContacts helps you remember birthdays and name-days of your contacts.
Once daily, the application warns you quietly about event to wish. Then you can contact your friend with customisables mail or sms, or call him directly to organize a party !
You can also add a Widget to your desktop, which displays the upcoming events.
Birthdays : enter them manually or retrieve them from Facebook or Google Contacts
Name-days : use a local 7,000 names database, which can be browsed, queried (by name or day) or modified.
This application use Internet only for Facebook and Google Contacts synchronization. Without the Widget, there is no background service, the daily notifications are managed by a simple alarm.

Very good app but need events backup/restore on/from memory card. And no need name day reminder :-) Birthday and anniversary reminder much useful

This application does not work properly. Keep getting error & 'force close' messages Dissapointing and waste of money. Developer not much help either.
