It would be nice to access downloaded books in your library throughout devices, instead you are limited by amount of times you can download books you've paid for. Other apps are much better. Disappointed in Takelot. Not like the standard I'm used to from Takelot.

The worst reading app for smart phones. I want my money back for purchasing ebooks from takealot. Don't waste your time and money.

Getting "No Tokens Available" for any book I try to download, that I bought. Contacted them and they say sorry they can't help me. I downloaded too much. So If your device breaks or you upgrade, you no longer have ebooks.

My purchased book wont open.very unreliable and help desk cant help

All my books are gone and I don't know how to get them back, plus they are for school can someone please help me??

Take a lot should allow the customer to download in the format of their choice instead of restricting use to this e reader. I won't purchase another e book as the reader is awful. I can't adjust it to night view and its awkward to use and download

Downloaded school text books and won't open. Gives me an error on tokens. I won't ever. Learnt my lesson

No problems I use the application mainly for text books as such I hold it to a very high standard. The nightmode is amazing as it enables me to eork longer without my eyes getting tired. Great job takealot have to say you once again exceeded my expectations!

I would like the money back for the books I purchased which I am unable to read on this app which is the only app available to read it on but keeps crashing? Not happy.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I cannot read any of the text in the ebooks I've bought. I have the text at the highest size setting. It shows 3 pages at a time which makes it even smaller. And the app does not respond when you try and magnify with your fingers. VERY FRUSTRATING

App just hangs after second page turn. I have paid for my book and now I cannot read it. The reading app does not work on both my Samsung devices. It just open the book and it crashes. Total useless app. Takelot took the matter up with the seller. Outcome: the book is in order. I now use adobe digital editions and I can read my book. This takelot ereader needs to be updated.

Too much text on one page for phone app leaving font that is deadly to the eyes. I connot believe i have to read an book with text that small on my phone

The app doesn't work. It quits as soon as I open the book I bought. I emailed Takealot customer service but received no reply. Onclusion: Don't buy ebooks on Takealot.

I can't seem to find any of my books. Yes, l have followed al the steps provided on takealot but it still doesn't show any of my books. Way did you created an ap if it doesn't even work.

App becomes unresponsive for no reason, books won't download. It requires a lot of tweaking before it can become a decent ereader app.

I've downloaded this app and reinstalled countless times and still it doesn't show the book I've bought from the site. Useless app. If I could rate it 0 I would.

It needs to be fixed. It often crashes whenever I try to highlight something. Also, I don't see the point of having to create a new account with another company just to use this product. Honestly, this product needs to be examined and fixed, because it is really unreliable as it is.

Regret buying ebooks from Takealot. Staff are also not interested in assisting although I did receive constant feedback. App does not open forcing me to uninstall, reinstall and redownload my books...very frustrating and it doesn't look like the will be fixing it soon.

Why can't I just read MY book that I paid for in the app that I choose and not some crappy proprietary reader? So not buying books from Takalot again. Time to look for a DRM remover. :(

Text books don't want to open. Reported problem a few times but nothing!!!

This is ridiculous. Why is this crap crashing all the time? And why can't I use other applications to open my books. They are my books! I'm never buying any of your ebooks. NX!!!

My first experience and purchase with Takealot and very disappointed! How aggravating and difficult to download this book which I happend to pay for and cannot actually access other than my mobile which does not help me! Tried our 2 laptops and it would not download and followed each instruction.sorry takealot but this service really sucks and I won't be using u again

Hi I have downloaded this app now and I did not get my free data that they said they will give us 150 free MB of data for free

Ek voel regtig dis tyd dat hier ernstig gekyk word na die sagteware of program van hierdie e-leser. Dit gebeur al hoe meer dat ek uit die program gegooi word. Ek koop al my boeke by Takealot en ongelukkig kan dit dan op geen ander leser gelees word nie. So, asseblief! Kyk na die program om lees weer lekker te maak.

I recently got an LG G5, and now I'm unable to add any bookmarks and if I close the app any book I was reading goes back to the first page. Please fix the app or give me some advice.

My friend Monde told me to write a better review so here is. Im disappointed in the app as honestly this is the first time Ive had any kind of problem from anything offered by takealot. I use them often and have always recieved great service from them. I need to use this app for a college textbook and fpr some reason it keeps uninstalling itself from my device for no reason or simply wont open.

Gives a login failed message when logging in with correct username and password; doesn't remember credentials; doesn't locally-cache any content...
