SumUp – Accept EMV payments

Great system and rate. Sometimes problem when message saying app out of date when it isn't so can't charge a payment.

No monthly charge, simple to use, lowest % commission available in my market. An absolute no brainer. Reader works well and support is excellent when you have a query.

The reader works well on the Samsung Tab S3. Overall the app is ok but feels extremely basic... GUI, functionality and general interaction makes it feel like it's still beta testing.

I like this app because its easier to use and lowest percentage going I have and will recommend to friend's and family xxxxx

Great app for small business's highly recommend sumup

It's ok. Hate the fact that no bluetooth receipt printer works with this app. Apart from a printer listed which by the way cost nearly £300.

So easy to use. Stops my customers 'popping to the cashpoint' and disappear ing

Good card reader small fee and quick deposit into account

Great way for SMEs to take card payments at trade shows and other non-permanently locations. Rates are very good, and customer service is excellent (we have been using sumup for 12 months now and they have been great). Card reader works reasonably reliably and latest sumup app is straightforward. Refund procedure after payout (if needed) is a little bit long-winded and costly, but that is the only negative. Good job!

Works great, as a sole trader being able to take a card in the field is a real plus. My only issue is the card machine itself, some of my customers have an problem with the touch sensitive buttons, which causes them to key in the wrong pin number.

Card reader updates - can't they notify you the night before that the reader will need a software update instead of waiting until you need to take a payment before forcing a 30min update delay - if it would tell you in advance it could be updated the night before saving some embarrassment...

I love this app. I would recommend manual ability to key in card numbers and expiry date to take telephone orders

Perfect for small businesses

Got my reader and it worked for two transaction then nothing. It I'll not connect an I have lost a ton of sales. Customer service is non exist at. I must say I am super disappointed in this product. It should be very straight forward, but it rarely connects. I had one customer waiting patiently for 10 min before they walked out angry. Thanks SumUp. Little slips like this can kill a small business.

Customer service appears non existant . Intermittent connection issues lead to embarrassing delays with clients. No response from support via email .The customer support is only available Mon / Friday .Sadly I would not recommend this App or organisation.

As a driving instructor it gives me another method of payment. Works very well, simple to set up and easy to use. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection fails a transaction but mostly works a treat and not too pricey.

service only open Monday to Friday 9-5 and when I rang on Wednesday 1/2/17 was told after trying numerous options that the representive 'didn't know' and would get back to me. I'm still waiting 3 days later. Disgraceful.

Sometimes takes a long time and multiple attempts to connect via bluetooth, and other times with no problem.

This is a brilliant machine

Card reader blue tooth system regularly stops working for days, 0 response from customer support, wish l had stayed with lzetal! They did call me about 30 minuets of writing the negative review, and walked through again all the online support steps, the card reader was still dead. They said they would send me a free replacement, and emailed me a return post link, however the link is in German or Dutch it took some guess work to get the label printed. When I got back to my center the reader had started to work again, as I said before it was very tempomental. But am now happy they have contacted me... but whether or not it was because they were slow or because I left a negative review I dont know. Happy to be getting a new card reader.

Wish it could accept debit cards as well, and process payments much quicker. (2014) Now improved and working great, made a difference to our business. Happy to award four stars.☺2017 some changes, updates and improvements to sum up dash board. Now happy to award five stars. Credit where credits due. Excellent app.

A great tool for business and almost perfect. However, you used to be able to send a client a link so they could make a payment to you online when they can't be present to pay. This facility has been removed for some reason. This means i cannot take card payments for telephone orders, therefore forcing me to get the client to psy by bank transfer. Come on SumUp, please reinstate this great facility.

Connecting, Connecting... But it never does.... Un-reliable at best. Sum is the story of something that was perfect, (payment by text link) till it was ballsed up by various variants of sub-standard card readers, probably made on China. I need something like the "old text based system" that worked flawlessly. Honestly, I'm sure like many other small business owners, I don't have the time or inclination, to be re-installing stuff, and re-booting, while my customers are looking on wondering.. WTF?

I've been using this app for about last 3 months I love it it's fantastic so easy to use

O diawl mawredd! Mae'n gwrthod datlwytho i'r Go Pad Android neu'r Glyniadur. Hell fire myn! It refuses to download to my Go Pad Android or my Lap top. It came down to my android phone but will not connect.

I have had sumup for about 6 months now but in the last month it hasn't been working properly. The app won't connect to the terminals I have and when it does it takes ages for it to work. As soon as the terminal goes into standby mode it loses the connection with the phone and doesn't re-connect. Have tried resetting my phone and uninstalling the app and reinstalling but nothing is making any difference. Really disappointed and now looking at other options.

Très satisfait de cet application,avec le meilleur taux de commission par rapport à la concurrence et on reçoit nos paiements au bout de 3 à 4 jours.Par contre le temps que l'application détecte le terminal est un petit peu long parfois sur Androïd.A part ça,rien à signaler et je recommande SUM UP!

Installed app on an old Android phone (Jellybean 4.2.2, Three Data Reward plan), followed straightforward set-up intructions and it has worked flawlessly ever since.

SumUp are great and the app is easy to use and has more features than I can use. Great for anything from a taxi driver to a shop or restaurant.

I can't connect to a newly bought terminal. App crashes. And why exactly do you need acces to my mic?

Last few days the app keeps crashing with the error message "sum up has stopped working"

Just installed this on my Motorola G XT 1642 and get a "screen overlay" message and the app won't even let me log in until I've changed it... I HAVENT GOT A SCREEN OVERLAY?! What is it?!

Great service with no problems at all for me. No monthly fees and a very reasonable charge per transaction. Highly recommended.
