Novel Cinta Datang Terlambat

"Aku lelah, bisa tolong lap keringat ku?!" Itu bahkan terdengar seperti perintah. Tanpa ragu aku mulai menempelkan handuk ke sekitar wajahnya.
"Aku mendengar sebuah gosip murahan hari ini." Aku menatap wajahnya yang berjarak sangat dekat dengan ku. Ia memandang ku, ia terlihat kebingungan.
"Tentang apa?" Tanya Dika akhirnya.
"Aku dengar kau pacaran dengan Rani. Benarkah itu?" Aku menghentikan gerakan tangan ku, meremas erat handuk putih di tangan kanan ku. Ia menatap ku lama, seberkas senyuman menghiasi wajah tampannya.
"Kau cemburu?" Aku tersentak, ku lempar handuknya, buru-buru ku tinggalkan Dika yang masih terkejut. "I'm tired, can you please wipe my sweat ?!" It even sounds like a command. Without a doubt I started to attach a towel around his face.
"I heard a cheap gossip today." I looked at his face which is very close to me. He looked at me, he looked bewildered.
"About what?" Dika asked finally.
"I heard you were going out with Rani. Is that correct?" I stopped the movement of my hand, squeezing tight white towels in my right hand. He looked at me long, a beam of a smile on his handsome face.
"You are jealous?" I gasped, throwing my towel, my rush to leave Dika still shocked.
