Tethering Shortcut for Android
I have AT&T. They remove tethering options from the menu to make it impossible to access on your tablet. You can hot spot but not tether. Installation of this app makes it possible to tether to your pc via usb tethering. Great work and thank you for coming up with this app!
Exactly what it stated. Other tethering apps have charges and limitations. I don't need those just an easier way to turn tethering on and off. This does that
It freaking keeps going to the home screen no matter how much you try to get it to work. Do not get this garbage
I was going mad each time i had to activate wlan hotspot. This app is exactly what i was searching for.
Mobile hotspot and Tethering menu was missing on Asus Memopad FHD10. Used external apps for wifi hotspot, which were too slow. Now can actually change hotspot and tethering settings.
Open your settings and there's your tethering options. Why waste your phone's storage space to save a finger tap or two. Ridiculous.
If you need to enable and disable tethering/hotspot quite often, as I do, then this is the app for you. It is what it says it is - a shortcut to the tethering/hotspot menu of your phone. I downloaded it and put it on my home screen, and now activating (and deactivating) tethering is but a click away!
1st time use 100% awesome I'm using my S5 to connect my IPad wirelessly not a single glitch Cricket wireless hides the tethering shortcut. Kudos to the developer no ads.. I should give 100 stars
Don't have to go through settings and bypasses several steps to turn on wifi hotspot on a Samsung Note 3.
I didn't even know that my device had this feature, i trawled through all my settings and couldn't find it, thanks to this app i did!
For some dubious reason, according to Samsung (because it depends on your carrier), AT&T has decided to NOT allow convenient access to the tethering hotspot or data toggles on the Galaxy S6, S7 and so on. There's not even a way to create any sub settings shortcut to the home screen anymore. But that's where this comes in- allowing for quick hotspot access. Works great saves time.
Could give 5 Star if Single Tap / One touch button provided in app for USB Tethering !! At starting of app, Wi-Fi Hotspot is opening which does not satisfy the name of app.. Hope you will provide this facility in next update soon.
I hate AT&T but I love this app. AT&T removes all shortcuts to mobile hotspot and tethering on my S7, making it very cumbersome to enable. This app is the only method out there to take me straight to the hotspot settings to quickly enable it. Thank you Kabasoft for the workaround.
Solid app -- does what it says, and it doesn't ask for unnecessary permissions. I've used this on the Moto X (2013) and also on the Nexus 5X (though the swipe down menu in Lollipop and Marshmallow eventually provides a shortcut after using tethering a couple of times).
Downloaded the app and followed all the instructions with my android 5.0 RCA tablet and this app would not allow my smartphone and tablet connect bluetooth internet. This app sucks if you download it good luck
I've tried others but many surprises. Should update and have a single tap option, why tap twice?
kick off ATT to hide tethering menu for greed.THIS APP is BEST . no ads. Free . thank you developer. You saved us...5 STAR
When my PC WiFi is low, and you know I need a boost to go, I press this shortcut.. and my mobile WiFi is there.. USB tethering now.. All you gotta do is press it down.. And just know for sure it's there.. You got a WiFi boost in need.. Oh yeah..
Works great if you are doing a reboot and quick hotspot. Can even make it one of your apps from the lock screen which makes this even quicker. Brings you right to the tethering setting menu (Hotspot/USB/Bluetooth tethering menu) you still have to go into the hotspot tethering on S7 Edge to turn it on but this is the best option for those of us who want to turn on the hotspot ASAP from reboot or powered off.
Doesn't work with my ATT plan and Galaxy S6. It takes me to my phones tethering settings and asks me to call ATT to buy it.
It's a shortcut to the tethering options, plain and simple! No idea why I have to use an app to create a shortcut to the tethering settings....
Works great on my HTC One M8 with 4.4.2 Kitkat. Saves me time from digging through multiple menus.
This app has only one tap to tethering, No Ads! Whats the purpose of tapping 2 times with Ads, the best app that works!
App doesn't work with Verizon Samsung S6.
Verizon charged me 50$ just to add tethering to my plan :(
I've been an Android user since the first Google phone on T-Mobile and this is only the second time I've rated an app. Well deserved.
Hug?
It works on my note 5 but wish I didn't have to still do 3 more step to turn on hotspot wish it was a switch with no questions
Need it all the time
Simple works, does what it said. Nothing fancy, just the way I wanted it. Good job!!!

worth taking the time to download
This app doesn't require any special permissions on your mobile device. It literally took less than 2 minutes to work, no complicated settings. My laptop instantly connected to my Samsung Galaxy S5! Much safer option than worrying about security of hotel or local merchant's wifi!
Can't Get It To Work
Gets the job done without having to dig through all of the menus.

very useful shortcut.. thanks!
Perfect for what I needed. Just two steps and it's on!!!
Works as described on my HTC Droid DNA.

Loved it. Really. Does exactly what it promises. A shortcut to the Tethering & Hotspot menu. It's extremely helpful for those people like me who has to toggle hotspot on & off every so often. I have used other apps. But they have an interface & tracking which I suppose is extra and causes more battery power to waste. But this one pretty simple and straightforward. Good for you developers!!! Spit on the faces of those people who say, it's just a shortcut. Man! it's gotta be a shortcut. At least that's what it promises in the title.
