Would give 5* if it wasn't for the fact that it is currently impossible to lock details and it is therefore far too easy to accidentally edit or delete them when only intending to view. This caused me to lose breakdown assistance number when on the roadside recently. Given a lock details feature or a purely viewing mode, I would otherwise be perfectly satisfied with the app.

I've been using this app for a while now, it's pretty convenient when doing multiple basic checks whilst at a used car garage for example. It's quick, responsive and easy to navigate. However I hope you can introduce package deals on 'advance checks', for example 10 advance checks for £20 or an annual pass where I can get, 10, 20, 30, 40, etc, prepaid advance checks, and get to use them through out the year, something along those lines for 'NON business user's'. I am aware you do monthly plans, however they are tailored for business use and I would not want to pay £49 a month for advance checks, it simply makes no sense. As I said above, if something can be introduced to the general public or someone who might use it more than a few times a year that would be great and the reality is, I would be inclined to use the service more often. Honestly a really simple and easy to use app that gives you exactly what you need really quickly. Just the vehicle registration is enough to get all the information required! And it's also up to date. It informed me that my mot was due, litterally a couple of hours after my lot, the certificate could be viewed through the app. It's brilliant! :)

Easy to use tells you everything you need to no... Just watch out if you do an extended vehicle check as i got charged twice and didnt realise until I recived my bill!! But this small error hasnt stoped me using the app. And it an amazing service definitely worth a look.

If you have any concerns about buying your next vehicle, or just want to keep tabs on your own then this is the application for you. You won't be disappointed. I am rating this with a 5 because it's not very often that app descriptions are so accurate, but this one is spot on. Brilliant.

Invaluable when looking at used cars that have no paperwork with them and you need to double check what you're being told is correct. Really clean and simple to use, I paid for the full version so I have the bigger garage to store my cars, friends, family colleagues etc. Good to keep tabs on when the cars MOT, tax etc is due to expire. I would wholeheartedly recommend you download this app if cars are your thing and even if they're not!

After receiving a text message from my bro' I downloaded this app. Thought it was a really good concept & most useful, so I bought it for the pro' features. While adding my insurance details, I realized that I had been riding (sometimes at ridiculous speeds) without any insurance for the last 8 WEEKS!!!!!! Cheers Bro'

Brilliant app, if you're searching for English registered vehicles. Being from Northern Ireland it returns only basic information. No mileage or MOT history. That is probably more to do with the way this information is shared over here though, having said that it should be made clear Northern Ireland registered vehicles or English registered vehicles that have been MOT'd over here will not give all information.

The best app so far I have ever seen. We run a motor garage, so we use it quiet a lot. It's very handy and simple. The only thing- could you add a BHP to the details. This would make your app to be the Best!

I stumbled across this app and had a look on the Facebook page. I was given an opportunity to upgrade and it's the best thing ever. All my cars and vans are registered and it's great for potential new buys. Consolidates all other websites. Best app and most used ever. 5 stars is not enough!

The best app of this sort I've used and well worth paying for the full version. Me and hubby have a bike and car each and my son a bike it's so handy to have all the details in one place and can set reminders for when tax mot and insurance is due. Also very useful being able to see previous mot's and what advisories or failures were and mileage, more useful when buying a car and you only need the registration and the app does the rest. Brilliant app.

This app is the mutts nuts just bought a car and did numerous vehicle check's on top of that it keeps on top of my tax mot and all those other things. No I'm not the app builder's mum it's worth every penny

If you need to check vehicle details on a regular basis look no further very easy to use & latest update means you don't need to enter vehicle make. Allows you to store details for up to 5 vehicles. Even if you only use occasionally means you can check when mot & insurance are due. Keep up the good work .

I initially thought this was good but Ive since found that it doesn't keep up to date with DVLA data. I taxed my car on 29 July. Its now 12 August and the app shows it as untaxed. DVLA web site shows it is taxed. Needs better sync with DVLA

Excellent way to check your MOT history etc, and checking other vehicles you might be thinking of buying. At the moment, the one problem it is having, is it's saying road tax is out on both our cars, yet both paid.....

Samsung Galaxy S5, this app caused my phone to have issues frequently (even when not using it) resulting in restarting my phone because it froze. Upon restarting it would tell me the app is causing problems. The app its self when I was using it, was good enough but not worth the hassle. After following the advice given by app support everything works perfectly. Ta.

Edit: This was a 4 star review because the notifications were not working but because my phone was in power saving mode, the notification didn't come through. The app itself is great. I can easily check the MOT history and determine if there was an advisory or fail depending on the colour coding system. It is also easy to check the mileage between MOT's with a graph which will highlight in red if there is a mileage discrepancy. The app itself is great and has saved me from a few terrible cars.

Be Aware.......Haven't received report immediately as stated in terms.. Been charged and confirmed receipt received.. Taken up issues with my bank as concerned about fraud...no report delivered to my email or visable on the app..looking for refund

We have 4 vehicles at home and keeping track of tax and MOT was a nightmare. This app had made it much easier. I also know that I can the history on any car or bike that I look at there and then.

Probably the best app for tracking vehicles that is available. The only thing that I wish was different is the fact that pressing back takes you to the front page and not back to your garage when you're looking at one of your cars.

It only gets better and better, I love it use it everyday so accurate I even knew my mot status and result before they even came and spoke to me it's that quick worth every penny.

Love this app, really helped me when I was looking to buy a car. Verified what the seller was telling me.....but secretly hoping that he missed something so that I could knock the price down. Thanks for the great app.

Fantastic! One thing I'd like to see on the 'information' is the Road tax cost and the tax band of the vehicle.

This is a really great application. Can track all my cars for tax and has history of MOT pass/fail and any notes. Tracks milage. Really nice interface, simple and elegant.

Looking for a car at the moment and find this app is great for looking through past MOT records and checking mileage. Been ripped off before but with this I can check the cars past.

What more do you need than this app to keep all your important vehicle information in one place, and reminders to make sure you don't miss important renewals. Great app with easy to use interface, and not forgetting to mention the very useful RFL and MOT status checks. Small cost for a very useful app, thanks.

Very useful app especially as not renewal has to be remembered easily forgotten 12 months on .. Only worry is how easy it is for others to see. Not your problem thank you top marks

Such a great app, helpful when checking old MOT issues on potential purchases. After losing my father this year I took it on myself to try and help manage the entire families cars, remind of tax and mot dates etc. This has made the whole thing almost effortless. I keep the details of service parts I buy for mine and the other half's car stored too.

A fantastic app that helps me keep on top of the vehicles I own and all the necessary maintenance. Sometimes has a slightly confusing user interface, but the functionality is there and it is certainly very usable and useful - even down to the sizes and pressures.

Brilliant app, so easy to use and very useful information available wherever you are. I discovered a car I owned had been clocked previously and that my service history had been made up.

Great app,saves having to troll through all the relevant websites to find out the information. Everything is here in one handy app. Will be upgrading to the pro version very soon

Great way to check mot history of a vehicle. The history shows all pass and fails including all advisories. Saves buying a pile of trouble!

I love this app! It is very useful to be able to see the MOT history of cars when looking to buy one. The layout of the app is very well designed and the lack of advertising is outstanding. If I may comment on something that you may like to add in the future then it would be in depth specification of the car you enter. For example 0-60 times and other various technical soecirications. Maybe you could add a new tab for this? Anyway, this app is amazing nevertheless and I have already recommended to friends and family who use the app when looking to buy cars and check up on them too! Thanks developers.

Does same as any other app but there are others that do more free such as previous keepers etc. Would be a bonus if rather than a link to askmid it could display the result in one place Edit.. obviously missed the FREE word.. other apps do more free

This will tell you a lot about a vehicle you wish to buy , mot history, any advisories, average miles over the years etc etc. Another cool thing is you can see if any of your old cars are still on the road .

the only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars is the fact it doesnt save the imformation you paid for. spent £10 twice. so would have been good if i could go back to double check on them both

A great app to use when buying a 2nd hand car or motorcycle..you can check mot history and the annual millage of a vehicle so before a sales rep tries to tell you the vehicle is in great order and has flown through the Mot's you can surprise them by saying you are lying it's failed or it had advisory's they really hate this and often ask how I know and what app I'm using. because they want to use themselves. Also good that you can set reminders for you vehicles so you know when the Mot's are due.

Absolutely fantastic app so very helpful, all in one information, even insurance checks included, love it! Very well displayed too and easy to use well developed with no annoying ads

Really good app. Would be great if it would auto check insurance at the same time, rather than just the link to ask mid. Latest update makes this much easier. Keep up the good work.
