KENWOOD Music Control for Android
Worked with my Galaxy S5, but stereo won't recognize my z force droid. Very frustrating. Plus, phone function should work in USB mode, not just Bluetooth.
Downloaded for the kenwood ddx393 and the app doesn't work. Not happy with visions, kenwood or Android at this point.
Worst app I've downloaded in awhile. Connectivity issues with both Apple and Android. Disconnects randomly. Irritating notifications. Bad user interface.
In March I had a Kenwood system installed in my ride and downloaded this app. I really like it.Thank you
Won't analyse music for mood
Brilliant sound i like it ???????? perfect to my Samsung note 5
Doesn't connect or even attempt to work
Wow
Love it
Ok bgt
While I am disappointed my phone would not work with the stereo I bought 1 1/2 years ago and finally installed, I do know the usb settings of my phone have changed. I cannot blame Kenwood for that.
I have a Jetta diesel that has a Kenwood Excelon. I painstakingly installed it and got it working. Sort of. This ap, which is the recommended one for my phone and radio, never worked. Can't wait for VW to buy my car so I can get rid of these POS's.
Bought and installed a Kenwood head unit from Bestbuy because it had 3 pre-amp outputs. I was sold on the Android compatibility compatibility but the app is worthless. I have installed and uninstalled numerous times. I even went to their website and read the directions. Still does not work!!!!!
not thrilled with app at all. Basically didn't work. I purchased basically because it plays flac files. I suggest Foobar app to play flacs
Plays all music files I have on my phone including flac and wav lossless files. Using a Samsung Galaxy s5 running Android 6.0.1 MM. This isn't the recommended app for my radio, but it works great.
Brilliant app never mises a beat quick to load play sort, can play various ways, from headphones to Bluetooth to my Kenwood van/car radio. I don't need anything else. Spot on. Currently installed on HTC one M8
Use to have an iPhone which worked very well for music, made the switch back to an android phone because I liked the other perks they have. However, I am unable to link with my stereo that the app says is compatible. My current deck is a KDC-BT948HD. My phone is a galaxy S7. Have tried to go into the "Analyze Data Output Settings" and select the "Auto Output" function, but am unable. The app does not allow me to select that option. I am running Android 6.0.1. Fail.
Done analyzing. Create playlist. Still not working. Instruction not clear. How to use?
Does nothing with my Kenwood radio. Nothing. "no device"
5 start if you can make the app run in fullscreen.
App doesn't work
Great app
Just plays music on my phone and won't play music through the car Kenwood cd radio
It work with Alcatel PIXI 3 3,5 that have not MHL. Not working with Honor 6 that have MHL full support!
In short: it keeps displaying "Reading" and would not play the music file either from this app or other music apps. Details: For this application, I have the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X697. I tried to use one of the latest Android (5.1) phone with 64 gb capacity loaded with some wav lossless sound files as well as 320 KB mp3 from my CD collection. I tried to play those file using this app but it only keep displaying "Reading."
Would be 5 stars if the music did not keep skipping while playing on my Kenwood deck via bluetooth. Does not clip when using the stock app. Uninstalled.
Terrible app. Purchased new HTC M9 recently and with the two stereos I have in my vehicles compatible for Android, I jumped to download this app. It will not work. I have followed steps successful reviewers have used and it will not work with the HTC. Whenever I plug it into the stereo, stereo goes nuts, flashing Not Supported and all sorts of fun messages. Also causes phone to crash and restart. If you own a HTC, do not bother with this app. Stick with an Aux cord. Kenwood needs to update this app, very disappointing as I have always had Kenwood products.
I find this app sort of irritating. It plays music...but when I select "album" on my KDC-162U with my Sony Xperia Z2 it keeps repeating one song unless I manually hit "next"...very frustrating. I will be purchasing an extra USB stick and if this still happens, I'll be quite unhappy.
Will not connect with DPX300U even though it is listed on the compatibility list. Head unit says N/A DEVICE when trying to connect through USB worn my Galaxy S6.
Features don't measure 1 millionth of PowerAMP free version.
Works as a media player but does not connect to stereo described. Followed all directions but it looks as though my galaxy s4 is "too new" and updated to be compatable. Will likely keep trying to fix but will ultimately delete the app.
My LG Nexus 5 both Lolipop and Marshmallow doesn't work with my Kenwood DDX 4033 via USB. After 2 years... This is still bad.
Doesn't work. Acts as a mp3 player for your phone. Doesn't even notice the USB connection.
Its working pretty good on my Sharp crystal, not too bad
The best company I ever seen. Kenwood exelon KDC-x792 is the best best music system
This spp works great on my Kenwood DDx372BT. I used my Note 4 and my old Note 2. Leaving my Note 2 in the car with just the data plan. Thank you!
Best muzic app i ever had
Couldn't get it to work with capable deck. hope I don't crash changing a song.
Waste of a download!
