KENWOOD Remote for Android
Connected easily, stable and works well with KDC BT710DAB head unit. A nice addition as a heads up display or remote. A bit unpolished in design or functionality and doesn't access all the functions and settings of the stereo.
will not connect so cheesy too waste of time.
It keep crashing works for 5 min then crashes
I have to reconnect every time I use the application. Even while playing music. Needs an update
It won't connect at all
Completely garbage!
Worked once, now it refuses to connect. Phone connects fine to play music in bt mode & make phone calls but refuses to to connect to this app.
Phone calls while not in Bluetooth, I need to shut down receiver to reconnect and hear music again... terrible...
Absolutely useless. Maybe with a iphone it would work but it is garbage with android. Adds nothing. Just headaches.
Absolutely useless. It was working just once now refuses to connect. I wish my stereo deck come with regular remote control.
Hate that it keeps connecting to my ACR recorded calls... Wish you could choose the folders it accesses... But every time I get in my car and plug it in... It goes right to playing calls... Not music
Most frustrating app o have ever used. I can't get it to connect but it keeps trying to play music I don't want.
Nice simple to control all the features on deck but still if you have a remote that will be much nicer
It worked once when i was at car toys and took it straight home then tried it the next morning and won't work
OMG this is the worst. Might as well just pair and use BT audio. This app is the worst.
Good but don't try it with a Samsung galaxy
Doesn't work. Fix this already..

Couldn't get app to connect via Bluetooth. No support
Love it. Makes controlling my motorcycle easy
Only wants to work in media mode. Can't get FM mode to come up
Does what I need it to.
It sucks
Testing phase day 3.. happy this far!!
Works ok
It connects pretty good
Flaky
Useless
Kool
I just bought a Kenwood KDC-X701 radio and this app looks like a bunch of high school kids wrote it. It does have the capability to modify the "Sound" settings via bluetooth but one of the issues is there is a "User" setting but no way to change the user settings???. I hope Kenwood updates this app as it has potential to be much better. They also need to add a setting so that the electric antenna only goes up when in AM/FM mode, not all modes.
Kmm-bt318u works flawlessly with the unit, all available setting options work instantly over Bluetooth. What I would wish for is zone color control and what frequency each band on the user eq is. I know there's the graphic eq, but it only gives you an idea of what you're doing not the numbers. And with the custom color on the unit I cant get the colors I want so I get either one of the colors or a close ish of both.
Weak, lackluster, useless and cannot compete with other companies apps. Not reliable or useful to interact with the stereo. I'd like to know who at Kenwood signed off on QA and uses this outside the office. Super Wack!!!
I have to unpair and repair Everytime to get the KMR318BT to connect to Galaxy S7 Edge. Almost too frustrating to use on a regular basis. Good for ease of us for some functionality of settings on the radio though. Almost there. It should recognize I am connected and sync.
I really never got it to do anything except recognize ring tone for some of my contacts. Never got it to do anything else. I'm uninstalling.
It does work well with the radio and does exactly what it is supposed to. The only issue is the software looks awful, it could have a much better look and feel to it. Although it does get the job done and does everything it's supposed to perfectly
BT518HD - I'm glad I can control the head unit with my hand. Once connected, I should not have to always select the "remote control" screen or my default/last media app. Taping the screen is not as fast, as pushing a button (volume up/down). The Gapless playback does not work, I always hear silence between songs. Phone = Google Pixel ... uninstalling, wish I received a real remote control!!!!
Other than not working, discusting graffics clumsy menu. The whole purpose of dn loading this was to use as a remote for the radio. That part of the app doesn't even come up or show up in the menu....frankly crussiffiction is to good for the person who wrote this app.
This app on my Galaxy S7 doesn't connect to my 2017 bt568. Watched the tutorial on how to connect. Turned the receiver off and on again. Restarted my phone. Reinstalled the app. Just sits there "connecting." Maybe an update will fix it. But for now 1 star.
This app is buggy. The connection to the receiver works one moment and then during a power cycle of the receiver will not connect anymore. I fixed this by making the receiver forget the phone and then re-pair the bluetooth connection. In portrait mode the message boxes are only 3 characters wide so you have to read down the screen. This gets fixed by rotating the screen to widescreen and then back. I'm using a Samsung galaxy s8
