Still has the connecting/buffering problem. Doesn't update my custom channels after I change them on the website. Randomly shows no channels at all.

Even though JVC's own website specifically says this unit can "control iheart and pandora" on android via bluetooth with this application. Yet you com here and only 4 Kenwood models are now listed. What a bunch of crap. I bought three of these specifically for this functionality and all JVC and Iheart's worthless customer service can tell me is that I should "use an audio cable or bluetooth audio" to use their service. Then why the heck would you advertise this model receiver as having this capability when clearly it does NOT. I do not recommend JVC or iheart for this reason. If iheart was a paid service like pandora I would be cancelling my subscription.

My works great! Just like it's supposed to,if i would have listened to the reviews, i wouldn't have installed the app.

Just installed this app on my OnePlus One and connected to my brand new KW-R910BT. Nothing happened.

Y70%

The custom radio channels only show 3 of my stations, does not have this problem on my iPhone

Y70%

When I go under stations on the radio, it may say I have one station, if I go under custom. When I check, I have multiple stations. Not a fan.

I have updated the BT on the head unit. And it still say buffering. My BT on my phone buffer fast. So either the app needs a Update or JVC need to update the head unit software..

PLEASE FIX THIS APP! I really want to like it, I bought my JVC KD-X310BT largely for the iHeart funtion, but this app is horrible. Sure you got it to work on Android Lollipop (after who knows how many tech support calls). Still cannot access any "custom" (artist) stations with this app although they all appear on the standard IHeart app. Battery usage (even when not running the app) is still crazy high, likely due to never-ending background processes. Pandora is able to fold this all into their main app, I would think a specialty app would be much better than this.

Despite my stereo being listed (KW-R860BT), the app won't play on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 5.0). Buffering only... Attempted to find a firmware update, even though my stereo isn't listed as needing one, to no avail. Was highly hopeful for this app as iHeartradio and IheartAuto don't work...

Worked great on 4.4.4 droid turbo but now I have lollipop it no longer works just says connecting and the radio says buffering

Y70%

This app doesn't work with my galaxy s5 I try downloading the bluetooth link and it gets stuck on connecting and it never does and when I open the iheartradio app to play via BT it plays the stations all mixed up and it keeps tuning randomly I know you would say that it is my radio but my pandora plays perfect. Please fix this guys.

I have attempted to use this app on several occasions with a KD-X310BT on a Samsung GS4/Lollipop and I am about to give up. I say "attempted" because I have yet to get any actual use out of it. If it connects (occasionally) the deck spends a good amount of time "searching" but somehow only finds four "live" stations and no "Custom" (there are about a dozen on my account). When I accept one of the limited choices, it spends the rest of it's time "Buffering" but never actually plays any music. I know the app must be doing something because of the crazy amount of battery use, but so far I can't tell what. ** UPDATE ** From my limited testing it appears the app doesn't like Lollipop. Tried it on my wife's phone (Kit Kat) and it works beautifully. Of course JVC tech support claimed no issues and wanted me to send the radio in for service (!) so who knows if it will be updated to work with Lollipop.

Worked great with 910bt. Until the AT&T lollipop update on Galaxy S5. Now it just says buffering. Please fix.

R70%

Rarely autolaunches when selecting it as a source on head unit (pandora works every time). Custom stations don't sync to head. Burns battery even after disconnection from head.

W70%
by W####:

Was great but since I received my lolipop update on my verizon note 4 the head unit only says buffering after selecting a station on WiFi in my garage or on lte while driving same thing happens. I have 3 JVC iheart compatible head units with the same problem and it also seems to affect my friends galaxy s5 with lolipop. I have tried reinstalling the app to no avail.

App will not work with Lollipop. When you switch to Iheart it just stays in a buffering mode. Needs serious work.

All it does is BUFFER. It does not connect AT ALL. Can't listen to any station because it's "BUFFERING"!!! Uninstall!!!

C70%
by C####:

My custom stations don't carry over to the link for some reason. I can access all of them online or by using the actual Iheartradio app and connecting it by Bluetooth audio, but if I use the Iheartradio option on my deck, I only have one custom station, and its one I'm not too fond of. I've tried to uninstall and redownload several times, but nothing seems to help... Pease fix this!!!

C70%

I have to kill the app when not in use or it causes a continuous wake lock on my HTC m7. This makes it so the app does not start automatically when I return after turning the JVC unit off in the car. By the way, I am using the app with the KD-R850BT and the KW-910BT. You have to press menu after the unit connects to see stations.

For whatever reason the stations I set on my account don't cross over to my head unit or I just don't know how to access them. App also appears to use abnormally high amount of battery as shown in Androids battery stats.

Refuses to show custom stations even though I can see them in my account online

H70%

For whatever reason I can only pickup a single custom station from my account. none of my other stations would show up. So I was stuck listening to songs similar to Part of me by Katy Perry. Got old real quick. Luckily, I found a crappy way around this. One of my local radio stations is available on iHeart, and they play songs I like, but they sadly play more commercials than they do music. But with that aside, I found that I can wait for a song by an artist I like to play on the local station, and then I can create a custom station from that song. Now whenever Pandora is having issues, (which seems to be a lot recently) I can still listen to commercial free radio that I enjoy, instead of just commercial free Katy Perry radio.
