Max Tracker - WPLG Hurricanes

App that gives constant updates on severe weather (tornadoes, flood watches/warnings, current status and predictions of hurricanes etc.) Without spamming you to death with advertisements (unlike The Weather Channel) Keep up the good work. This is a fantastic tool for people that want quick and reliable updates on severe weather.

It's a great help even when I lost power. It did get a bit crowded trying to get to it during the day after power was lot. Thank you..I stayed calm through the whole ordeal. God Bless

Best hurricane tracking app for no nonsense information without any hype, not a bunch of ads.. Just the straight up forecast cones, spaghetti models and radar. Also has an excellent local radar app. I deleted every other radar app and kept this one. Excellent! Many thanks to the designers. This one is an easy 5 stars! A+++ (Droid Turbo 2)

Not bad but graphics don't where from and never give a time...So WORTHLESS FOR PLANNING. ALSO alerts never show time or importance.

This app has been great during Hurricane Irma. One wish: make it more of a one-stop shop for all things one needs to know before, during, and after a storm in real time.

Living in Florida an app like this is a must. Glad to have such accuracy at your fingertips. As the storm nears your location the alerts become more numerous. Love this app.

It Keeps On Crashing And I Can't Read Most Of It's Information

It's a great app. Also living in SOFLO for as long as I have, you want the most accurate possible. Max is the ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY and wouldn't trust anyone else.

Concise, straightforward app for hurricanes and tropical weather alerts and forecasts. Well executed. (Note that this is not an all-purpose general weather app)

I can't see any of the actual written forecast. Just the pictures of cones, radar, other tropical systems.

I live in South Florida on this app was extremely helpful to me in my family during Hurricane Irma. It's lightweight handy does not take up a lot of resources at a time where I had no power but needed updates.

Easy access to info about hurricanes. I especially like the tracks. You can get your info in 3 clicks.

Very helpful with Hurricane Irma - knowing where the storm was, the level of the storm and constant updates helped with the storm. The more we know, the better we cope!

It could be better. Have the hurricane or weather actually moving. Like past or future like the weather channel app. But the alerts are accurate and information good.

Easy to navigate, fast easy storm updates. I live in South Florida so I need to keep an eye on things.

Love it. I have been preparing for Irma and found what to do before the storm survival kit very helpful. You can also view the location of the shelters and the app is always with the latest information. It's a life saver

This app worked better than any other apps when we didn't have power or internet during Hurricane Irma.

When it comes to hurricane updates, this app has all the info I am looking for and none of the extra stuff that I don't care about.

This is a great app. It is not up-to-the-minute , but it is not supposed to be. Updates come through appropriately .

I love this app, keeps me informed all the time, this covers more globally. But to stay completely up to date with the latest local weather I also have "Local 10" with Betty.

Way way too many alerts. If they don't stop I'll discontinue using and uninstall it.

It's really good to track the models and the satellite radar, that way you can see the bands that hit you.

This is a very good app for tracking hurricanes ;-) I used it for hurricane Irma it gave me faster information that I could never receive from a live broadcast

It crashes anytime I click the alert notification icon. It crashes if I open from app icon.

It crashes so much that its completely useless.

I felt it was up to date always and love that you can touch zoom the maps. Very helpful during Texas' recent bout with Hurricane/TS Harvey.

I enjoy this app because it alerted me that each hurricane was coming, it allowed me to track threats to my family and friends in multiple areas that hurricanes hit this year. It's basic but informative. There are other apps that give major details however this one is Very nice. It has news updates and details about storms hurricanes and the like. I genuinely appreciate that there is no interference with adds or saying pay me for upgrade. Just strait forward information. Allowing people who are not in the current disaster to monitor loved ones. Thank you for this app, awesome!

The updates were great but a bit slow. Giess I was expecting real time updates which wouldn't be practical. It helped me out alot during hurricane Irma. It constantly had alerts going off even when it was repeated info. Tha ks for your Irma help tho✌

Good hurricane tracker, and pushes many alerts, but at the cost of a massive battery drain. In the neighborhood of 25 - 30% less battery by the time I'm done with work. Galaxy s8+ identifies this app as a high battery drain as well. Not a good feature if you lose power in a storm. Otherwise a great app.

Too many loud alerts for the same thing, though I edited the events I wanted. And tornado alerts were very long before naming exactly where the tornado was seen.
