WJXT - Hurricane Tracker

This hurricane app has been great to keep track of hurricanes when not near a news source. Very informative and love that it includes the models for where it/they might go. Gives info for as many hurricanes that are currently occurring. Also gives quiet notification when there is an update. Super great app!

Constantly crashing, until these are fixed, people surely cannot keep up the fantastic rating accumulated by this app already. Please repair. It is triggered by denying the location tracker at the start. Allowing it doesn't trigger the crash. Only app on my phone to do this. Please fix!

This app was so satisfying I went out of my way to come write it a 5 star review. One thing I really like is how simple it is. Not only does it give you straight to the point hurricane updates (every hour by default), but it also gives me something else I've always wanted in a weather app. A quick no nonsense view of my local radar. Finally!

When there is a major storm the app has trouble loading. All I want to know is a few particulars and where the storm is going. Nothing else. Very poor app.

App crashes and has to be restarted. Seems to work alright other than that. Shocked how few people report the constant crashes...I have a Moto Z Droid Edition.

Excellent app. Very straight-forward, intuitive, and accurate when checked against more popular sources. Cons: On the ZTE Axon phone, the maps randomly zoom all the way out as I'm navigating. That's really annoying; but that's a software bug that can easily be fixed, not the result of a design flaw.

I like most of this app. Except the message alerts when clicked on does take you to the message or update. Only get to see the part that pops up on my screen. Fix that & I'll give u 5 stars.

During this tragic hurricane season, of which my area was impacted by Irma....I was able to tell loved ones, and strangers, where it was, and for how long, and I could plan accordingly....as to whether to evacuate, and/or where to go if I did evacuate. My nephew in Pompano Beach, whose parents chose not to evacuate, was comforted by keeping check with me as to where the storm was. I was able to give him, myself, and others peace of mind, and to stay safe. I have recommended to so, so many people to download this app. It helps more than just Florida, all the way up north, where I came from, or across the big pond to my friends in the U.K....G-d bless all of you who worked so hard to create this for the good of all. Amen

It worked before now that i needed it the most with the passing of hurricane Irma as a cat. 5 it does not work "Failed to get data please try again later". Please fix asap waiting on hurricane Jose cat. 4

Excellent Hurricane tracked only small gripes. Different distinct colors for each level of hurricane easy fix and when zooming the tracks blank out and must reload not a big deal NABD great app!

It gives us messages in the pull down area that are cut off due to screen width. The problem is that you can't see that message anywhere else.

This is a great tool for keeping up-to-date on major storms. One of the only things I think would make it even better is an audible alerts feature.

Easy to use. Seems to be on point with direction of the storms. Free of adds. And always keep you updated with whats going on out there as far as storm weather.

It is a great app. It gives you hourly updates on life threatening storms. This app does what it says it does.

Keeps me updated with hurricanes. I live in a hurricane zone, and its really important for me to know every detail of each storm.

Nice to have a map that keeps me informed on what the current status of the hurricanes are doing & where they are projected to to make landfall...I do agree with another person that having these maps as interactive would be great for allowing us to get a better idea of what a storm is doing in real time...but overall I am satisfied with this app... probably 1 of the more useful apps I've ever downloaded...

Great app, accurate data only issue I had was the zooming would not work right and the app would lose data connection at times. Otherwise I recommend

My first occasion to use this app was during hurricane Irma and as we were evacuating Florida. It made it easier to see where we shouldn't be and to keep up with home and those who decided to stay.

Lots of info to help track hurricanes. easy to use. No annoying ads.

I love how it gives me right to the minute info also easy to read helps me and my family stay safe during a storm or any type of weather condition!

No matter where you live in the country this apps great I'm from Jax Florida in this particular app has been helpful since I have moved to a different location in the State of Florida Central Florida this is the only hurricane app that is worth downloading for any information in constant updates on any storm that is out there Brewing if you are concerned about hurricanes in your area no matter what state you live in get this app

Love the way it immediately opens. I use the "Model", "Satellite", etc. Which HELPS me to have a better understanding of what is or maybe WILL occur. Helping me to make Critical Decisions. Love this App.

It didn't work during IRMA. Although it could have jyst been bad reception.

This hurricane tracker help me keep track of hurricanes, which helped with action plans.

Really good at keeping you informed on what's happening with the storm out there. Sometimes needs to be restarted though but that's small stuff

You get a notification that there is news, then it takes you to a map. You have to scroll down and find weather news and you can't always find the rest of the blurb you are looking for.

Love it had it when Matthew came to jax last year and I saw min by min of the important way it was going thanks for a great app for us and thanks for being the #1 news in my home. Be safe out there everyone this year.

Not the smoothest or fastest app but has good information and keeps you updated on all major storms.

This app is fabulous! I love the forecast cone, the models, and the satellite view. It's great for anyone who wants to keep up with the hurricane season. I tried some other apps, but this one is by far the best!

App was imensely helpful in assessing the track and movement of hurricane Irma with intensity and speed of advancement information. I viewed it after every NHC update and made my decision to shelter in place based on this app.

Its constantly saying cant download data try again later whyyyyy

I wish I could give it 4.7 or 4.8 stars. Simple, straightforward, and to the point. Excellent, really. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I think the images could be a higher resolution, and maybe some motion in the radar images would be useful.

Used to be really good but now it doesnt show ANY hurricanes, despite me knowing there are storms around the world. Fix this and i will change the rating.

Who really needs this app when you cover the storm 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year little bit too much coverage don't you think way too much coverage before after and during the storm there's other stuff going on the world that people would like to know about don't you agree please stop using your Scare tactics to make everybody run to the stores and empty all the shell like the end of the world is coming tomorrow

App is extremely slow in performance. Doesn't offer enough detail information for me.
