About GMAT Vocabulary

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test which assesses a person's analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in standard written English in preparation for being admitted into a graduate management program.

Being able to use a rich vocabulary is a major advantage in the GMAT and will certainly help you get a higher score. It will also be beneficial in your academic, personal and professional life. This GMAT Vocabulary app will help you achieve your goal more efficiently:

- The database contains a list of about 3000 essential words with pronunciation and a brief definition.
- It uses 3 different approaches (Word List, Flashcard and Quiz) to fit in different students’ study habits.
- You may mark the words that you’re not familiar with and review only those marked words in Flashcard mode.
- It tracks your progress and results for all quizzes you take.

Be better prepared!

Unlike GRE, GMAT never tests a candidate on vocabulary. This application seems to have been developed for some other exam!

Try using a font that allows an entire sentence to fit on the screen. Overall not a very helpful app.

The gmat does not have a vocabulary section at all. So this app will not help you pass. Obviously the makers of this app did not do their research.
