With the Go HAM Texas Method Calculator PRO app, you can customize your workout and calculate your numbers based on your 5-RM lifts. Simply enter your 5RM's into the app and you're good to go.

I have been using this for a while now, and it gets the job done, but it is very frustrating to use. I wish the starting strength app had a Texas method version, that app was really well designed. I would list all the bugs/annoyances here, but I am sure the developer is well aware. Waiting for the next update to edit this review in what will hopefully be a more positive light. Only real issue I'm experiencing is that I can only get warm up sets to appear for squats. Would like to have the warm up sets for all exercises. Otherwise pretty good. A little annoying that the "Select workout" for Bench and Press collapses after leaving the app but that's minor. Love it. Edit: I must have been seeing up the custom warm-up wrongly and that's why it wasn't displaying. I reinstalled and set it up again and now it works perfectly. Changed review to 5 stars.

A few issues: (1) I have to keep selecting either PRESS/BENCH. Once I select it, my selection is not permanent. (2) When creating an assistance exercise and it asks me what days I want to have it on, I have to choose between days 1, 2, 3, 4 - even though I'm on the three day split. That's inherently confusing. (3) Power cleans are literally the most substituted/eliminated exercise in the entire program. This app should reflect that. There should be an option to swap power cleans / snatches for something like: two count paused deadlifts, tempo deadlifts, beltless deadlifts, snatch grip deadlifts, etc. (4) When creating assistance exercises, the initial page for creating them should let you select how many SETS you want the assistance exercise to be. It lets you select the WEIGHT, and the REPS, but not the number of SETS. (5) With the assistance exercises, you should have the option for linear progression of weight. Just having a fixed weight isn't very useful. For example, I used to do Madcow 5x5, and Bent Over Barbell Rows were a big part of it. I would like to be able to continue doing them in the Texas Method (on Intensity Day at the end). TBC

The app is good for the most part. There are issues where I cannot use a decimal point when entering in weights as well as the app failing to increase the weight increment each week even though I've logged the new PRs

Simple functional. Some of the features are nice (tracking across weeks) others leave a good deal to be desired (no audio or vibrational timer notifications, deadlift calculator seems off)

***Update You need to swipe right to progress. Works perfectly. It doesn't work. No option to complete workout so I stuck on day 1.No apparent Help section. Tried emailing Developer, no response. On a Galaxy 6.

Cod use some tweaking to have some notes and logging your status regardless if new PR is set, also allow adjustment on reps and additional accessory work

Useful app for tracking workouts and progress running the Texas Method. However, I wish it was more customizable. I wish there was a way to add a rep if you were able to perform, for example, six reps on a 5-rm attempt.
