SoundForm Signal Generator for Android
No decimals.... LOL useless!!
Awesome thanks for creating this app
Ntf. No trouble found
This thing scares me
No impulse
Very nice.
Good signal generator
Nice to be able to select the frequency but some of the waves don't work. Sine just generates a clicking sound, others produce the wave and clicking. Triangle is only one that works right
Great. On silence I can view my own sounds. . Galaxy mini. BF.
Tone generator, white/pink noise, nice. But it doesn't keep playing if you switch to a different app, and a plain background would look better.
Interface clumsy and too few control. Scope useless, would need refresh rate tuning and signal output to Mic input comparison to be of some use.
Gnexus Toro here, lagged my phone so bad that I had to pop the battery out. I was using it to test mic lines, and it only worked half the time. I ended up just playing music instead.
86%cpu load when not in use, not good.
Doesnt work
I wanted something to generate different sine waves and it does that reasonably well. There is allot of audible distortion in the higher frequencies.
What's the function of the impulse?
Simple, does exactly what i want.
Keeps resetting output volume, so I can't get a steady 50mv output to test audio equipment.
Didn't
Does what it says. Motor ATRIX.
For crappy ui look
Locks up milestone on application exit
Nice
Yes it is.
fun to use
On my HTC Desire S, this app uses over 70% of the CPU - even when the app is not running (ie in the background). Uninstalling.
Awesome
Is the sound option linked to the camera. So i give permission to an app for sound, you are giving permission for the camera too & vice versa? .... If so then ok, if not, why would a sound generator need camera access? Seems legit. I can't believe the types of access some apps want. Simple apps like a memo, periodic table or a calculator app wanting access to private info I wouldnt even want my security app to access.
Sound does not stay on when phone screen is off. Makes this useless to use while sleeping. Uninstaling!
What's the point of generating the sound if no file saving is allowed? 5 stars if allow file saving. It does the job.
...plug in the mini jack and then connect to input terminal (audio input) of amplifier. Great! my galaxy mini became 'small & handy' signal generator for testing my D.I.Y. sound system.
Love it really when u wana c wat happens when u put it @ a low note and just c your subwoofers just quaking backin forth :) great for spl
I needed a tone generator for some rough measuring of some radio gear. It's no service monitor but I like it's simplicity. Needs dual tones for helping to check linearity.
The waveform viewer is kinda worthless, and the volume jumps when the window rotates.. but the noise is actually random, not just a looping segment. Kinda awkward interface too, but it does the job!
Doesn't play unless screen is on, huge CPU usage. cool that it uses the mic to display on the scope but there is no way to turn it off. Uninstalled.
Works perfectly on my triumph. Thank you!
Good app - pegs CPU over 99% & gets hot. Continues to run after exit @ high CPU usage. Sets off watchdog warning.
Why do I need to see the Mic input if I'm just want a tone??
Needs to keep the phone on while generating! Also cant keep a steady signal for more than a few seconds at a time. Constantly cutting out and turning back on made it a huge pain to set 2 mics levels instead of a 10 second job.
